What have you done to your P5 today?

got it... kool... 17s it iz then... i figured 18s would be a little much... unless i go back and do hella modz ta the car later and decide i could use wider rubber... 17s + 2" lowering should be good, don't u think?... i'm thinkin i wanna get a new front end though, which could really change my ideas about that depending on which i get... i don't want my front lip ta be too low

Im running 18's and dropped 2". If I ran a front lip it would get ripped off the car within a day.

Speaking of rims ... my replacement arrived today.

but i wuz thinkin that if i go for the one like on Bala's MSP it would be higher than normal, right?... and with 18's and 2" of drop do u scrape goin in a lotta driveways?... cuz here in the East Bay we've got hella hillz and some pretty steep driveways that i scrape on now, if i'm not careful (which i generally am)

EDIT: Oh, and happy 420 everyone

like I said, if I had a lip it would be history. I want the DG CF lip to finish off my car....but, if I put it on, it would be done in a day! I scrape as is. If I hung a carbon fiber lip on her, Id be throwing away my money.

Kept the P5 from getting squished by an SUV.

When I dropped my daughter off at school today the Lexus SUV at the white curb in front of me decided to back up before pulling out into traffic. Not one or two feet mind you, but 3 car lengths. Good thing I stopped 8 feet behind it, as I just barely had time to slam the P5 into reverse and back up like crazy to get out of that monster's way. Honked like mad the whole time, while frantically looking back and forth between the rear view mirror and the rapidly approaching rear bumper. Pure luck there wasn't another road barge sitting right behind me.

A$$hole drove off as if nothing had happened.

that sucks. but that right there is why i hate SUVs

I can't afford katskinz or tweed. I want to keep the stock seats protected from the Arizona sun, so seat covers it is.

I got some off of ebay, don't get them they are really thin and will most likely tear within the year. But they look pretty good for now. I'm not real impressed but they were only $30. You get what you pay for.

Remember that the bottom line lies in the overall diameter of wheel/tire combo in relation to your drop - it doesn't matter if you have 14's or 19's.
Here's a useful link: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

i ripped the door trim off, and then spent 30 minutes on 8 inches of that sticky crap. needless to say, i gave up. i'm gonna have to try something stronger than bumper sticker remover and a fingernail to get it off.

right now the sides of my car looks AWESOME ;) (puke)
