What have you done to your P5 today?

Thanks all. I think there are 3 or 4 different dash kits.

Wow, that fog tint is dark. Is that the smoked version? That's why I went with blue. It allows the light to pass through without distortion.

yep, that's smoked. I think they make different levels of smoke tint for the taillights, but for the fogs I only saw one listed. it's way dark.

It's not like the foglights put out any useable light anyway, they're just there for the look :P

Ordered Rockblocker kit for the P5 fog lights. Good deal right now!

I went clear.

Drove her home from the airport...after realizing I left the reading lights on for 5 days and needing a jump. And popping the passenger side low beam...I think that's it lol

Actually, I angled mine slightly upward and have a much wider range of view at night then with only headlights. Combined with Silverstar bulbs it's very bright.

Altspace - They are the 20% smoked. Like Kansei said it is the only percentage I could find for fogs also. I thought about blue after seeing them on your car but the blue or yellow wouldn't flow with the rest of my red/black scheme.

Demoniam - I think the yellow will look great on the black mica! Be sure to post pics. (poke)

copied from my turbo build thread:

zomg .. just worked for 3 hours on the car.. here are the results:

http://picasaweb.google.com/claureta...ay1Disassembly

Currently Removed (I'm sure I'm forgetting some things)
- timing belt
- tensioner
- idler
- accessory belts
- valve cover
- timing belt covers
- strut tower brace
- battery
- battery tray
- radiator
- exhaust manifold
- front bumper
- headlights
- fender liners (partially)
- front wheels
- radiator hoses, as well as "water return elbow"
- coolant overflow bottle
- cold air intake
- both fans
- passenger side motor mount in its entirety (it's torn completely as well :'( )

Tomorrow, clutch time, which means I need to get the timing belt stuff back on so I can get the passenger side motor mount reattached.. since every other motor mount has to be removed to drop the tranny.

Doing this stuff alone is only slightly frustrating so far :)

hurray, new pass. side low beam is in. Yellow rockblocker fog overlays ordered :)

EDIT: Seriously, it's not THAT hard people. I don't exactly have carney hands, you just need to be patient.

was driving home, on side roads, tonight from up north and got air off an unmarked railway crossing. landed, bottom out, and a few sparks!

Felt like Dukes of Hazzard!
