What have you done to your P5 today?

I have 205/40/17 on mine with stock suspension. IMO the sidewall is too thin and looks funny. I would say that 215/45 or 205/50 should look and work fine.

got stock rims, 205 xx/16? I think.

I think I may know why my car was burning oil... .027 to .033 was what my ring specs were on the first rings... I specced the new ones to .027 (I didnt have the manual so please don't yell at me guys) the strange thing though was my second rings, the ones I didnt break were both at .024. Ill just have to put her together and see how she runs!

Gotta take the head to the shop still, hopefully they'll be able to do what I need done (new valve seals installed). If not, is there a special service tool that I'll be able to pick up?

Soon she shall live :)

And I took my aftermarket headunit out to plug in an aux lead. Found out I have 3 preamp outs. now my amp is really gonna get some use

May have wheels for the summer...

Quick question though. I have 17" wheels for the p5 for the summer. They're 205 wide and I'm on stock suspension, how thick of tires can I/should I get away with? Someone told me 205/40-17, just want to confirm

How wide and what's the offset of your wheels? I've got 17x7 +45 wheels with 225/45-17 tires on my DD wheels, lowered on coilovers and very very little rubbing with rolled rear fenders. On stock suspensions you'll be fine.

On topic, ordered a Mishimoto fan shroud from CR3 yesterday.

I've got Spal 10" and 12" slim fans available with brand new Mishimoto fan mounts if anyone wants them , PM me. $70 shipped for everything. :)

Sold mine Friday night. One burden off my shoulders.

I don't mean to offend, but who in their right mind would buy such a rusted-out car? Did they buy it for parts?

Today I finally got around to installing a subwoofer and amp in the trunk. Spent most of yesterday making the harnesses, and installed everything today in the rain. I'll get some pics next weekend when I finish-up a few cosmetic things.

No offense taken. For parts only. Had Tein S-Techs on Blues with relatively low miles on them, MSP front seats, MSP front brakes. Some other usable parts. I'm not sure what the suspension combo goes for these days, but that alone would be worth it to me.

They are stock 2006 mazda3 17" wheels, I'm not sure on the numbers, I'll have to look that up. Thanks for the info guys!

I had 3 17's on my P5 for a bit with 205/50's on them. Lowered on S-techs and Blues. Fit well.

Not a good one of the whole car, but one of each wheel individually... mostly to show off the rust at the time.

This one isn't a real good one to judge by because the passenger side wheels are off the road, and a few inches lower because of it.

Dude... that ain't s***. Those pictures are 2 years old. I got this picture earlier today from the new owner while he was stripping the car down.

I was gonna say... hahah

still doesn't compare to my dad's old pathfinder. It was a body-on-frame truck, and a part of the frame rusted through. they welded something in there short term, but it ended up getting traded in and probably junked... can't really remember, it was a long time ago

I had a 74 Beetle that was missing the floor where the drivers seat used to be. That thing was a piece. Glad I didn't put money into it.
