What have you done to your P5 today?

Went out to shovel god I hate doing that took the car cover off the p5 and man car look's like it just got waxed next to any of the other cars also started her up.I miss driving her it's been about three month's :(

Here's my game plan for things to do to the P5 today.

-Oil pan replacement. (I know you're sending one Alex. Yours will replace the one I'm going to steal.)
-put rear sway bar back on
-replace rear calipers, rotors, and pads
-replace all brake fluid
-replace transmission fluid
-needless to say, an oil change with the pan replacement.

-replace Evans tool when finished. I keed, I keed. Half those tools are yours anyway.

Felt full boost this morning on the way home from work. Sadly it dropped from 9.5psi to 7psi. I didn't let the RTV cure all the way. =)

That's ok I'll fix that tonight.

Drove my car for the first time in about 2 weeks. I let a friend borrow my car who had some battery troubles with her 911, so I know it was driven much harder then I normally do. ;)

Oil pan replaced
Transmission fluid replaced
Rear brakes replaced, including calipers, rotors, pads.

I'm beat.

Ordered v band flanges for the exhaust. (it was cheaper than 2 flanges and a gasket)

Got the 3 bolt flange mocked up for the high flow cat for a Civic Si. Going to cut that out thursday and get it fitted for use. Saturday I should have up to the S bend finished and welded.

Installed a techna-fit stainless steel clutch line to replace the old rubber one I had (I learned that I suck at bleeding things). I'm not sure it makes much of a difference...

I also went to Mazda and picked up a brand new tranny splash guard. It's been about a year I've been without one (the old one died in a fight with some icy-snow); amazingly they had it in stock and it was only $23!

no problem! I just sent you a txt.

Had to swap over to the FD's a tire on the MS6 rims had a huge bubble in it. It's been raining really hard the last few weeks, that's been tearing up the roads. Booo for pot holes

question, just had to swap out my engine. new engine was received from a local company that gets "JDM engines. if this engine was a jdm one would that mean any difference in gains? i know i read about jdm cam providing improvement in performance.

Stock we have an FS-DE (130chp), if they swapped in a JDM motor you now have an FS-ZE (170chp). But honestly, I doubt they swapped in an FS-ZE. There is more to it than just a swap of the motor. They would have to swap out the ECU as well and a few other things. The easiest way to tell if you have a JDM FS-ZE is if there is a black air chamber box on top of your intake manifold. Can't miss it.

installed a set of rallyarmor mudflaps!

now i'm off to Oahu!

I KNOW for a fact that those scrape at that height lol i had them on my car that low for a week. had to move them up. they scraped on every turn. n FORGET about having passengers. lol couldnt even get 3 peoplewithout being scraping constantly lol sooo bad. all fixed now tho... after a foot and a half of snow, im glad i put them on.
