What have you done to your P5 today?

My P5 is covered in snow :D

here's mine after the freakin blizzard last year. I had to drive through route 460 in West Virginia for most of it, so the snow on top of the car isn't even half of what fell that night. pretty epic trip. the best part was when I stopped to clear some of the snow off and two college girls jumped out of their car to help me

Thanks to a fine police officer, it was brought to my attention that my license plate bulbs were burnt out. He was also kind enough to let me know Wisconsin has a law that requires you have a front license plate... as if I haven't figured that out from the 7 previous times of getting a verbal warning about that. (jerkit)

Logged another 600 mile round trip to Bazooka Joe's yesterday. Washed the car and installed an ebay rear strut bar. Also took a chunk of rubber to the PS head light and eyelid while on 95N.....lens is scratched and it took a small chunk of the eyelid with it..... :(

Tuned for the last week with my Rc750 injectors in with my bad laptop battery that lasts 5min at a time (need an ac adapter)...25psi is the new gspot :) Oh and cleaned her up to go out for the first time in like a year and still managed 30mpg acrossed town and back!

thinking about putting mudflaps on my p5 for the winter since i do alot of driving in the winter.. trying to save the paint on this car as well as i can, since its about the only thing this car has going for it at the moment. haha was thinkin about getting these

anyone used them?

I used them. Too thin. They're good but I don't see them lasting longer than one winter. Mine are already deformed and bent backwards a bit so I took them off.

1. Tried to find/fix my e-brake light randomly coming on issue. I thought it was something in my remote start, but that didn't fix it. Going to have to dive into the dash again another day.
2. Tried to fix the new crunch sound coming from my rear driver's side wheel well. I thought it was something to do with my RSB, but I messed with that and no results. Damnit.
3. Completed my wire tuck of the harness that goes over the intake manifold and valve cover. So much cleaner now and only needed to extend the power steering wire. Some pics below:

Sometimes the e-brake light is triggered by low level in the fluid reservior. I'd check that if it keeps happening.

My friend said that Honda's do that. I am going to be doing my brakes (pads, rotors, fluid) so we will see after that.

Awesome. You should do a wire tuck write up.

Went to sears, got my rolling 18 Drawer tool box. Stuffed it in the back, (fought for 15 mins to get it in) Went home to set it up..... Found out that it didnt come with the casters.......Gotta bring it back tomorrow to switch it out for a new one.

Took out the power steering pump after that. Going to rebuild that one and slap in the new one. (tomorrow)

Other than that found some little things that bother me and plan to get them taken care of (now that im going to night shift, ill have time during the day to knock this stuff out.)

Also still waiting on the couplers to finish the intercooler project.

wow, my brother is having this problem, may have to tell him to check that
his e brake light will comeon when he brakes hard and when its cold out...kinda weird but ill tell him to check the fluid

Yeah. My P5 did that alot under those conditions, and especially when my rear brake pads were getting thin.

Heh, my brother was having the same problem with his corolla. He fixed it by bleeding the brakes; we did a bad job the first time which left some air in the rear lines.

Good to know. I think brakes next weekend will solve my problems then
