What have you done to your P5 today?

Damn, Fishy! Yours look good too! Why didn't we clean our headlights earlier? Haha

attempted to rewire my gauges so they run off of battery power directly instead of tee'd off of the radio harness...picked up a 30amp inline fuse holder and fuse, as a dedicated wire for the 12v constant, also a dedicated wire for Ground, but i forgot a dedicated wire for 12V ACC...damnit, went to walmart and they didnt have a add-a-circuit, so im stuck until tomorrow :( anybody know a good wire to have as a 12V ACC wire? or is the add-a-circuit the only option?

Lol no idea my friend. I've been waiting to do it for a long time. I have to tell you I was a little worried about how well the 10 dollar turtle wax kit would work. The whole process looks just ok all the way up until you use the wipe with the clearcoat like sealant. That makes ALL the difference and then you see that the kit works absolute wonders.

Had to create a new post about somethhing I noticed. I had used Mobil1 synthetic on my car for all my oil changes for about 2 years. I switched to Castrol Edge due to a sale at autozone. Nothing wrong with the oil but I recently decided to go with Mobil1 Extended Performance and wow what a difference. I also added lucas' upper cylinder lubricant and my mpg's rose by around 4. I have to say that those two products are definitely worth the buy based on my personal experience with them.

How many gauges are you going to run with that wire?

Duh...lol wire size haha. What was I thinking.

Picking up two new tire for the MS6 rims later today.

Had my tire completely split apart while doing about 80 on the NJ Turnpike. Threw the donut on and headed to the tire shop...yay

it is definitely heavier than the stock mazda knobs. i was surprised that it was that heavy when it arrived. i personally like this style shift knob because it fits well in your hand so it feels good to me. 2nd in line are round shifters but again, i dont like my hand freezing or burning

the ebay guy that sold it to me is a good seller. he contacted me sayin sorry it didnt get sent out yet and when he did ship it, it came in 2 days. i think someone has one for sale on the forum, but if not then heres the one from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mits...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

also, this may just be me since i havent heard anyone else say anything about this knob... my knob when tightened, it was aimed more to the passenger side so i had to screw down two nuts onto the shifter's threading to create a place for the shift knob to sit and then it was all good :) simple $2 fix from lowes. i can take a pic of it for ya if you need

Thanks for the info!

dam 440g? thats ******* heavy lol my greddy counterweight shift knob is only like 380 or something like that and it was a huge improvement

Yeah- it says "approx weight; 440grams". When I got it in the mail I was suprised at how heavy this thing is too.

mine is about 460 and i think its the perfect weight for the car

The Skunk2 knob I have is 550g, lol. 1.25 lbs. (boom08)

Not to sure....gotta figure out if i likem enough to keepem...there are yukibs custom eyelids that i had sanded bonded and profesionaly painted the msp mica black with the flakes...pm..i kinda want those spacers you have for sale..

I never got a pm... Hit me up, tho. I'm working on closing a deal on a new set of wheels as we speak. So, I won't be needing these spacers anymore, after that. Although, I wouldn't mind fitting the new wheels once with these spacers... Just to see how far out they would sit, lol. I'm thinking about running 5mm spacers with the new wheels; they aren't as low of an offset as I would like, but I can't pass up on the deal. (rockon)

I think I'm holding out for a pair of DG v2 CF eyelids, tho. Those ones have stood out to me as the clear cut winner. Especially since the CF weave will perfectly match my DG grille & hood, too. ;)

Did a much needed interior clean....wipe down with Turtle Wax Ice interior cleaner and vacuumed. Now she's just a dirty little girl on the outside.
