What have you done to your P5 today?

sweetness! How's that NICS or whatev it's call system work out? good?

You know... it's good... but I'm not 100% sold on it.

The idea behind it is very smart. A simple way to make the knobs universal and just add the correct insert for any car. Saves on manufacturing costs... that's for sure.

But removing the knob means getting channel lock plyers and a cloth to get the threaded insert off the shifter. Also, if you want to make the knob a bit higher... it looks like the insert would stick out the bottom of the knob... I need to look at it closer.

I bought my third summer car...

Anyone wanting a ride in a 300-C... I can accomidate...

Nice ride....my wife's uncle just picked up one on July 4th. I have yet to take a ride in it though. He got the 'heritage edition' (different chrome rims, badges and more chrome on the car) in red. Last I talked to him he ordered a Bentley grill for it.

Might I add those are some sexay wheels(omg)

well, I picked up a pretty beat up 'old school' Fultron Memphis Belle MB17 up off of eBay and hopefully get enough to install it into the P5 later today. It will be replacing the Kicker iX-405 I currently run. I soldered in a new rca (yeah its different because Memphis no longer has replacement parts for Fultron amps and MCM is right down the street) input instead of the interesting rca plug hangin on by silicone, cleaned it up and polished with some simichrome. Bench tested out perfectly. Life is good. I have always wanted one of these beasts...

What happened to the 911?
the 997T was going to be on back order as it seems that the dealer overbooked the cars when they sold them. I got my Deposit back and $1000.00 in credit for the P-Car dealer shop here in Ottawa.. The 944 is going to get some profesional help from a dealer in the for of a 6 Speed 968 tranny rebuild.

I hear ya, I am already considering a 21mm rear swaybar. Oh BTW a B7M shrtshifter is in the mail along with yellow RB's for the fogs. I think it's too late. I got this car because it was cheaper than my volvo, turns out it's cheaper to mod too (first)

Bought my MP5. good enough for tonite!

ps--what's the best stuff to use to eliminate that "smoker smell" ..
Car is not too bad, but you can smell it when it's real hot outside!
Will try Fabreeze tomorrow, but didn't know if anything is stronger
