What have you done to your P5 today?

A Waste? How is this a waste? To be safely pushing 10 psi is not a waste. You talk without reason, opinion only. Thats what I plan on doing. Being at 10 PSI is a good starting point. Getting to know your car at this point is good. I wouldn't mind going higher but like many people, money is a factor.

its how i got it, planning to go 12 once i get use to it, this is the first fast car ive ever driven lol, im taking it easy for now. plus i gotta retune it and everything

please i been runnin over 10psi on a gt28 for years on a stock engine.. so therefore its a waste... if your gonna go spend all that money on goin forged then atleast push 15psi n for that matter do it on a gt30 or bigger.. n their are plenty of members running 10psi on a stock engine safely.. SO YEAH THAT IS A WASTE!! ;) thanx.. plenty of ppl on here will tell you this car is well capable of doin 10psi safely with the supporting mods and a good tune on the stock block

yes its a good place to start especially if you don't know about FI.. soo homie better doo alot of research on whats on his car before tryin to doanything with it.. good luck man

Forged on GT25? Where does the efficiency of this turbo cut off? Going higher boost just for the sake of going higher boost only forces hot air thru your engine if it's past where the turbo is efficient.

Hell, my MSM can handle damn near whatever you throw at it, but the stock turbo isn't efficient past 10-12 psi. I've run 17 before. It's just blowing hot air.

that msp is still on a stock turbo too?? then nvm keep that s*** at 10psi lol yeah i wud def not up the boost on the stock t25 thats insane lol

yes your correct the stocker will jist blower hot air n will not be very efficient n can prob end up causing damage even if forged. n i;m pretty positive being at 10psi on that turbo is its limit i wud suggest him investing in water/meth injection

In the end, it really does come down to the quality of the tune. You'll break s*** no matter what kind of parts made out of unobtanium you put into the engine. If it's not tuned worth a s***, bad things happen. Just things to think about.
 
lol i'm pretty sure its a stock turbo i was readin the for sale thread n it didn't list in the mods that there is a upgraded turbo

got the estimate back on repairs, need a new tail light on the driver's side, hatch pulled out where the dent is and to fix the plate frame, what i need to get is a rear bumper and cover so im shopping around now to see what i can find to help save some money...

know any places to look around? and yes, i'm avoiding body kits since all i have is an SRI (trying to save as much as possible for an exhaust)

just finished rolling/pulling the rear quarters a little more. Hopefully I'll get everything buttoned up tomorrow. I'm tryin to make these tires fit w/o raising the car more than I already have.. I need a bigger bar to roll the fenders with, all I have is the bar off my jack. I'm thinking about removing the inner fender liners up front as well, they're already chewed to shreds.
 
I don't know what turbo they're running. I was asking. Haha.

it is stock turbo, its got a nice tune, in boost my AFR is around 12. without boost and no load between 14-15. i have SSAFC, HondaEat-R tuned it, and he took a while at doing it when he owned it. the tires skid when you punch it in first gear. dont think im going to need more power for a while, if anything ill get 626 intake manifold and ill be set for another good while. when i test drove the thing the ride home in my 5 was the most depressing ride i have ever driven. sooooo slooowwww and the handling difference is night and day. the MSP is a torque monster, well mine is at least.
 
Fixed the bubble on my radio surround di-noc and covered this dummy license plate with stickers for the car show on sat lol

Front and rear brakes came in, so that means I get to do brakes all around tomorrow since I have the day off.
