What have you done to your P5 today?

not sure, I think there's a how to, that goes from sedan to P5 lights, dunno about the other way.

edit: just looked through the How-To section and didn't see anything, I know there's a write up on it somewhere tho. Ask DJ Dub or someone who has converted from sedan to P5 lights, they might have some insight for you

i'll be converting flyinhawaiins sedan to p5 lights soon. i'll try and do a how to.
 
can u cut off the external wastegate on a T3 manifold and weld it shut? I have a T3 with internal wastegate. If so I will be going turbo and collecting parts for the next year or so.
 
started her....pulled more parts off...see the protege5 FS section...good stuff....(cool)

Thewrench wrote one up years ago, but I do know he went through and cleared out some of his threads for what ever reason about a year ago.

Neway it is possible to switch it over but it requires quite a bit of work and wiring along with the installation of some relays. Although to make your life easier for $65 I would put a h4 hid set in there (you lose highbeams but not a huge deal) and be done with it.

Damn never thought about that looking for sedan lights now lol .And if you already have a hid kit just get a h4 hid bulb and your set.You tha man!!

Would have figured the rear struts for a MSP to be required to hold less weight on a sedan than a P5, and thus also sag on a P5; but looks like its working, just sounds backwards conceptually...

The spring perch on the MSP struts sit higher, so when you install them on the P5 it eliminates the sagging issues.
 
Sounds good. Ill see if I can get the H4s here in Hawaii. Hmm ill get this show on the road then. lol
 
im having a weird squeeking / rattling from the passenger side of the engine. It only happens in drive. Any ideas?
 
Swapped the DS chrome rear turn signal from the MPV to the P5 since that bulb burnt out a couple of weeks ago and since the PS chrome turn signal bulb on the MPV burnt out over the weekend.

So now the P5 has matching chrome bulbs and the MPV has matching stock bulbs.
