What have you done to your P5 today?

I painted the rear valence today. Looks awesome. I'll have pics up later.

It sure has. The only way I'll do it is if I won't have to spend much money, if any, to do it. That means finding something like what you did or finding someone crazy enough to want an auto. I got real fired up about it but I have to relax and think it through completely like I did with the turbo ya know what I mean?

Oh and valence pics will be up very soon. Gotta get back to the apartment to upload the pics.
 
here you go. Duplicolor Engine Enamel semigloss black. Exactly the look I was wanting and it looks amazing. I'm very glad i did it.

Thanks man! One of the quickest sprays I've done actually. I took a 1000 grit and wetsanded the surface directly. Then the duplicolor clear adhesion promoter primer, couple medium coats of the black and a solid coat of clear. Took about 1 hr start to finish.

what clear coat did you use... duplicolor high temp?...i wnaa see how yours holds up...(ugh)
 
Nah I just used regular clear. The high temp black was just because I've used it before and I knew exactly what it looked like. It's also a bit more durable.
 
damn now i really want to do mine... are you just masking it off while its still on the car, or pulling the whole thing to spray?

anyone painted the wing black before? thinking about it but it want to see it before i do it.
 
looks good fishy.

i finally got more 8 gauge wire to finish everything up. now my audio is complete. and i have the thicker wire to try bridging my amp again. (my old wire wasnt true 8 gauge, and would cause my amp to overheat). Haven't bridged yet, but have put everything back together again. Oh and pics of coarse.

My component amp and wiring stuff. screw a spare tire. who needs one anyways.

Masked it off while it was on the car. Make sure you mask around to the wheel well and up to about the bottom of the rear window. Really simple, really quick, and looks awesome.
