Ok, took note of the Optima Red top! I think many people run this battery too on the forum from what I saw in pics. Where's the best place to buy it? And are there others you guys would suggest?

I like the idea of not paying too much lol! So Duralast might be the one I need. Is the gold one worth the difference? AutoZone / Battery I pretty much know nothing about batteries so I'm trying to dig as much info as I can!

I tried that but the costco in my area didn't have the right battery size so I just grabbed a duralast from my friends shop.

should be small getting a picture of it in a few days. but the seller said it was minimal.

I wouldn't buy a rim that had a crack, why was it cracked in the first place? por quality, rim hit and damaged, I would buy a rim that had been repaired due to curbage but not cracked.

yup i always go optima (yellow top) but mine only has 12month warrenty... but i be sure to go back before the year is up to get a new one... just kill the s*** out of it right before...

I think anything will do better than the stock.

Mine went dead and the only place open (firestone) only had interstate bats.

Probably the only thing they have never effed up.

Has been working great. The green really doesnt match though.

Ok thanks guys, I'll get the red Duralast, recharged my old battery last night, so hopefully it will come to life this morning... Santa brought goodies too, looking forward to some installation! But I suck at mechanic, little training in sight!

i got my cai under the tree today....and installed before noon WOOHOO....that things in some air now

Just got a call from the mechanic. Turns out I just get a new headgasket

he pulled the motor all apart and can't see anything else. He said if he still has the rodknock after the new gasket goes in, he can still fight with the warranty company, but, until it does finally pop, i keep this block

And he is putting endlinks on all 4 corners new as well
