What have you done to your P5 today?

you aren't allowed to complain about cool temps, you're from Canada. I would move to Canada in an instant if it was like west of the States or something, but no it has to be the snowy north :)
What is this? Pick on Andrea because she's Canadian week?? lol I can't wait to get back to my igloo and take the dogsled to work each day...

To put it in perspective, the temps back home the past week have been warmer than what they've been in Chicago. Around 27C, so that's about 85F iirc, and sunny. Besides, just because I'm from Canada doesn't mean I like or can tolerate colder temps. I HATE winter with a passion; anything below 0C (32F) is too cold for me. Period.

Crap maybe I should move to Canada. I hate winter too, but I'd rather hate winter in a country that I'm not embarassed to live in than sit here in the states hating winter.

Now about those dogsleds.. any chance you could sneak one across the border? Gas prices are getting a bit high :)

oh my god, for the first time in months the air was cool and cold enuff to actually make my sri actually perform like it should, i could actaully feel the car really performing, it rained and there is really cool air outside here in tampa,fl oh yuh and drifted around my neighborhoods wet, curvy streets, heehee

That wasn't drifting, it was understeer :p

I think I need some counseling. I've only been away from my protege5 for 90 minutes but I'm just so worried about her. Leaving her in other's hands just feels so wrong :( :(

Even worse, I've only been in communication with the shop via phone when I called to make the appointment. They've never seen my car in person before. I bet they are laughing and laughing and laughing right now. Let's just say I'm not their normal customer, but I knew they could be trusted.

Since now my mountain bike is my main mode of transportation, I'll discuss my adventures with it today.

It was a 27 mile ride from the shop to campus. No biggie, I thought.. well yeah I had to ride through the largest and most frightening government housing project I've ever seen, riding on my shiny japanese bike with a $4k USD laptop strapped to my back.

I made it to campus in under an hour o_O I really thought it would take a LOT longer than that, I guess I'm still used to hilly Connecticut roads.

bah I want my car back :'(

Did you leave the autoexe (brand?) grill on car?

If so......go to the dealership tonight, rip it off and sell it to me dirt cheap. :)

yes i left the dgmotorsports carbon fiber grill on the car. along wiht the carbon fiber hood. wanna be cf m3 mirrors, exhaust, injen intake, catz fogs painted headlights and cd player.. i sort of miss it. but every time i get on the bike it fills my urge to take curves ...and the bike can go way faster to boot. i just got the truck due to winter time needs and what not..

so when i post here now it will be stuff i do to the f150 or 600RR ;)

today i go to get some 17's and mud tires for the truck... and later wash it. and then even later go hit some s's on the bike :D

If you'd ever like to swing by for a visit, I'll show you some sights that will seal the deal... Yes I gripe constantly about winter and cold and snow and all the other crap that goes along with it, but I honestly love living here. The rolling prairies, the badlands, the forests and lakes, and above all the mountains. Absolutely beautiful, it's as simple as that.

As for the dogsled/gas prices... To put it in perspective. Just outside Chicago right now (where I am on holidays still), prices are about 2.89USD/gallon. Yeah, it's high. Back home when I left, prices were 1.05CAD/litre. To do the conversion:
1.05 x 3.785 (litres in a US gallon) = 3.97CAD
3.97CAD x 1.14 (approx exchange rate) = 4.53USD
We are paying on average 4.53/gallon of fuel. (shocked)

Your prices are not that high yet, trust me. And I want to go turbo in the next year or two. (poke)

are you getting your MAM pipe put on at the shop?

No, it's been on for a while. Actually when you saw my car it was on I think. It's been on for nearly a month I think.

They are mounting new tires, drilling off the remains of my old front endlinks, and tossing the new front endlinks on. Oh and a front end alignment.

Just installed. Took 10 minutes and a perfect fit.

Also installed the Silverstar turnsignals. Sun glare has the best of me here, so you know better pics will come.

Looked at it in disgust. Been raining for about a week straight here, not to mention the pollen is out of control. Friggin filthy!

1. Installed MAM rings
2. Finally ordered wheels, I expect delivery next week.
