What have you done to your P5 today?

lol. i gotcha bud.

It's just strange the number of people that are emo or pissy today.

Bah.

Also, How much is an Unorthodox underdrive pulley and gatar belts go for?
I'm only pissy when people continue to spew wrong information that has been proven wrong for 5 years now. Seriously!

Pics!!

I'm going to be removing my clear markers and tinting both the side marker and bumper markers to match

Man, that dumb-**** who can't speak english really pisses me off. "MSP's have different engines." Yeah, bulls***. Whatever, I'm done with that thread so I guess I'm gonna go out and "mistreat" my P5 some more. What a toolbag...

i have no comment since he's local

But, when meeting him, he is coming from a Ford probe forum, cause he said they are the same motors, and hte probe guys mod theirs moer than then protege guys

Well Probes do use the FSDE block but I'm fairly certain the heads are different (not the FS9 heads we have) because they use distributors. It is also quite possible they had different transmissions. He just clearly doesn't understand that all 3rd Gen Protege 2.0L FSDE's are the exact same in the US and Canada.

i'm just telling you what he told me

Plus, he was building his car to be a show car. so...

I'd just replied in that thread...and I'll probably regret my input very shortly!

Perrin fuel rail hopefully going in this afternoon and hopefully without the issues you had Magnum!

Just make sure you remove the little blue insert (you'll know it when you see it) from the from the fuel line. Technically it should stay with the stock fuel line but mine came out. That's what cause my big issue but I think I did have a little fuel leaking at the connection to the rail. I'd take everything apart and use a good thread sealant on all connections before doing the install.

Thanks for the tips man!!

On a side note this cold ass weather (for me) has brought out a significant vac leak at the idle bypass screw in the TB from playing with it tooooo much. Which was causing me to go lean a bit cruising when cold then good in the middle of the day and rich under full boost. Smooth as butter now with just a 1/4 turn.

LOL, aren't you not supposed to play with that screw? IIRC, according the to FSM, there should be another screw near there that is the proper one to adjust the idle.

just got a quote from a local Ford dealer's paint booth to paint my MSP lip is gonna be $275 cause they have to use Mazda's paint mixed to match

But, they can repsray teh whole car, including the lip, for $225
