I've had a number of auto enthusiast friends that have gotten into the RC hobby, under the belief it's a cheap alternative to cars, only to find out they spend a ton on the miniature versions. Especially when they're not as skilled and break things. I looked into it and decided to just keep it to the life-size stuff. I'd prefer aerial over cars, though and that's even more expensive, especially when you **** up.
The rear, right tire is leaking like crazy to the point it has 2-4psi each morning. Found the leak and in a hurry to leave the shop Saturday, I forgot to actually repair it. It's right in the center of the tread, so easily repairable, just need to do it!
Got the popping noise from the front, left taken care of. Not sure which component it actually was, but I hit everything with the impact when it was in the air.
I hate how unpredictable the MSP is. One day it runs perfect, the next day they'll be a hiccup here or a hesitation there, then be fine like nothing ever happened. It's always been like that and I'd say that until I go standalone, I'll have to deal with it as I think the engine management is the issue.
