thought you were just going to put a stock fs back in.
Don't have the funds to do an OEM rebuid. They just raised the rate of my childrens health insurance.
Only way for me to fund the car is to sell the FS parts.

I'm sure your car will be just as badass with the kl.
So, for this upcoming weekend my plans are to install the AXR Bracket (if arriving on time), change the oil while I'm at it, and possibly Seafoam my car for a vacuum/boost leak. Anybody have any tips as to how to do so? Never used Seafoam before, and would rather save the money than to pay a shop to smoke my car, unless it would be more accurate.

My brother sold me on it a while back, I just didn't know anyone who could help me with it, and Andrew seems like he wouldn't mind helping with some of the tricky stuff. I've been reading a bunch on it though, and it doesn't seem too bad. About $2500 in parts if I do it right.

This build thread has a lot of good info and Evan is always helpful and happy to share his knowledge. This is his 2nd kl swap.

Yeah. I fgured for a complete, OEM rebuild of this junkyard 626 engine, I was looking at $1.5k out-of-pocket, including the engine. Then my logic tells me, if I'm going to spend that much on an OEM rebuild I may as well forge it, so then that number gets closer to $3k out-of-pocket. Now I'm thinking I can do the KL swap for about $2.2k in parts, and get all the money from selling the FS-DET parts, and have no money coming out of my pocket. Easy decision IMO.
May put the spray to the KL as well. Just a little 75 shot.
