What have you done to your MSP today?

I'm with this guy I was walking a vr6 before 5k from a roll.

I just saw your signature... What RSX radiator do you have? Why? And were there any other modifications necessary for this?

It fits pretty good. I did a lot of research n measuring before buying it. It's just a eBay aluminum radiator they only mad the rsx for a few years so there all the same. Main things I had to do were drill new holes on our radiator brackets and bend one a little, and cut both hoses to shorten them a little. It sits a little lopsided because one peg isn't in the hole for the lower bracket. The outlet for the overflow is on the opposite side also.

It looks like the RSX radiators are $205-250 that I can find. Any reason why you went with that instead of a Mishumoto unit for $255? Or did you find a cheaper radiator?

@spiced: I can read, I still dont understand why you'd go with an rsx rad though. it doesnt fit right

I paid $150 for mine. So that saved me $100. N I doesn't fit rite up against the support because of the spout for the radiator cap. 2.0t03speed has seen it a few time. It may not look perfect but it does an amazing job. I've only heard my fans kick on a few times instead of all the time now.

It's better than running our stock radiator that cant even do its job. My fans were on constantly and I could feel the car heat soaking when I sat at a light to long and I didn't wana pay $250+ for a radiator. If I wanted to fix the lop sidedness all I gata do is cut off the tab n move it and weld it. Lol

i've seen it in person and for what the rad cost it cant really be beat. the only real negative is that the rad brackets are on an angle, but other then that it seems to work great. i'll take some legit pics of the rad this weekend when i go over to his shop to work on my miata.

$?

Anyone finished with their mods and want to trade their SSAFC V2 for my V1 with money on top? IF you're done modding, you won't necessarily need the datalogging feature and could just load your current map onto the V1... Anyone?

I'm still debating as to whether or not to sell the MSP and get the MS3... I really, really don't want a car note, but I also don't want to be towed on a weekly basis or spend every night after work out in the shop working on my car...

Somewhere, it wasn't a bad leak either. I'll see if I have a pic or it. I'm going to ruin the serial number on it so you can't get me in trouble and try to warranty it. I'll have to find a suitable box for it.
