What have you done to your MSP today?

I did some searching before I bought it. TheMan had some good info on tstats

The car will run at whatever temp the tstat is going down the road beings that its not that dependant on the fans. However sitting in traffic the temps will be at the mercy of the fans and what temp they come on.

In regards to my post earlier... Sorry, It took me forever to figure how to post these 2 pics. I guess I need to spend some more time posting. Anyways, the hose hasnt been cleaned since it blew off 2 days ago after the "unbreakable" JB Weld epoxy crap that obviously didnt work. I'm going now to try a few different ideas. I'll check back in a bit to see if any of you have any new advice for me. I can't really drive it right now and i'm afraid of what'll happen if i just patch the hole to where the steam doesnt have anywhere to go? Idk hopefully you guy know more. Thanks in advance

good luck i did that to one of my old radiators. Tried everything to fix it i ended up just breaking down and getting a mishimoto.

Tap it with an NPT fitting and hope that works... Because if not, nothing else will...

I would've suggested this if there was enough meat on the neck. The fitting will have to be trimmed so it doesn't hit the cap. If you DO do this definitely use epoxy on the threads. I don't think it's going to work very well though.

Exactly, it's his last ditch effort...

Make the hole clean, make a nipple (sort of like a rivet) with a through hole and a head on it to go in from inside the neck... then epoxy from the outside. Npt fitting might work...but you would have to drill that hole out pretty big. Also make sure you don't interfere with the spring on the radiator cap or it won't open to relieve pressure.

***Do no just seal it off or you will crack the radiator for sure!

Yo Shane, finally got my car back from the shop. Finished getting tuned this past Wednesday and wanted to start hitting up meets (honestly I just want to drive my car (drive2))

We need to get together one of these days and cruise.

my an to NPT fitting in my aluminum rad is 1/16"NPT to -4 it replaced the aluminum neck piece perfectly and its not that larger of a hole.

Well, other than a gallon of oil leaking from the bellhousing, the engine is good.

Ahh good old rear main seal problems

I know it's not the rear main... I checked that bad boy like 10 times... It's the retainer because we swapped the entire unit over from one of my other engines. It's leaking between the MBSP and the rear main seal retainer I bet...
