What have you done to your MSP today?

its either a vac line leak, or a gasket leak on the intake side of things. just get a makeshift boost leak tester and see what's up. also i remember that when my msp was still a virgin, the vacuum reading was in the -24's easily. 20's to me shows a little leak.

well i think ill try to look at the intake side, before ill start looking into the boost leak...bc i can still hit full (stock boost 6.5psi)...cant you normally hear a boost leak or am i just thinking of something else?

Mine doesn't show a vac leak on my boost gauge. Reads 22-23 all the time. And I'm hitting full boost, and what its doing doesn't do it all the time. Just when it.wants to I guess..

here are some issues that could be causing that code. vac wise i'm usually running 23-25 idle.

-The MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor is dirty or faulty
Note: The use of "oiled" air filters may cause the MAF to become dirty if the filter is over-oiled. There is also an issue with some vehicles where the MAF sensors leak the silicone potting material used to protect the circuitry.
-There could be a vacuum leak downstream of the MAF sensor
-Possible cracked vacuum or PCV line/connection
-Faulty or stuck open PCV valve
-Failed or faulty oxygen sensor (bank 1, sensor 1)
-Sticking/plugged or failed fuel injector
-Low fuel pressure (possible plugged/dirty fuel filter!)
-Exhaust leak between engine and first oxygen sensor

Any spicy owners interested in an 03.5 spoiler? It was paint-matched to mine. Probably going to be taking it off soon.

im also having the p0171 code almost everyday.... could be the egr or maf? ive replaced my primary 02 which was the cause for a little while, but now its back so could be egr??? maybe thats what im thinking

had that code for almost a year, turned out to be injectors. sent them out to get cleaned and it ran good for around 700 miles then code popped back on, swapped them with deutschwerks 440cc's and never seen the code since. i was running a low impedance DSM 450cc injectors

repaired my rear bumper.. zip ties and tiny screws ftw.... installed the new boost solenoid.. now i have to remmeber how to program the AME truboost... sits at -18/-17 vacuum but when i WOT on straight away.. only reads up to .49... nothing to the left of the decimal :/... also replaced both my stripped and worn down tie rods from many removals... now waiting on new to me side mirror to replace the hail damaged one....

ya know, I have never thought of that. Im wondering the same thing now since my steering wheel is peeling and fading like crazy. Thinking about getting an aftermarket wheel but I would like to keep the airbag in the event the unfortunate happens.

OAN: drove it today, nothing new other than the car still has a crazy idle with an occasional stall. Been driving it until I get paid so I can get either a new IACV, EGR valve or TPS. But now I am leaning towards a vac leak since sometimes the car idles normally and smoothly but my boost gauge still reads around -18-19 and sometimes -17 even with a smooth idle. Checked everything before and didn't find anything but this has to be a vac leak. So, I guess I'll just replace most if not all vac lines. Hell, I may even order a new EGR and IACV and install them on the 505 since the manifolds will be done this week and it will be nice to have the car finally idle like it should.

edit: just left Autozone. Got my CEL read. Got a P0300 and a P0134. So with that said, looks like I'll be buying a new o2 sensor for the manifold. That may be the cause of all of my issues.
