What have you done to your MSP today?

He'll get over it, although you might have crushed his fast & furious dreams.

Hows he going to live his life now!? He will not be able to do it a quarter mile at a time!

that's right, I was thinking something else happened too

Well, I must be crazy. I called the guy and told him no go.

He really wanted it. Offered me more money and everything. I told him it wasn't even about the money.

You went through the reasons of why you wanted to list it to see if any takers existed and you then found one that wanted to pay you more. Yeah that is nucking futs.

I know man. I was just looking at other cars, and couldn't get excited about anything.

On another note; Does anyone know if the Koni yellows that you can fit in a modified MSP strut housing will work in a standard Protege strut housing? I have a complete DX suspension set up sitting at the house, and am considering using those plus Ground Control as an autocross setup. The standard strut housing doesn't have the indentation that the MSP struts do.

Im glad you didnt sell it.

Thanks guys.

I was thinking about it last night. Thinking about how much I've spent (money & time & sweat), and about how much I've had to learn, and if I've gone this far, why not just wait a few more years finish to the car off. I guess I'm a bit jaded, from having all the funds available when I was single, and childless, and my budget now isn't anywhere near where it used to be with 2 kids now, so it's going to take a while. I guess that's why I kind of lose interest in the car, and just want to get the cash. I just need to tough it out, wait for the kids to start school, my wife to go back to work, and us to have more income to finally finish the car and start a new project.

I would never trust anyone enough to sell my car to them so I'm keeping it forever...literally! I'm a 40yo grown ass man and not just saying that :) Income tax return time is the only modding money I get and that has to be divided between the red wagon and my drumset...
CF reversed cowl hood and microtech lt10s this year!

Well it's been a while since I've been on here, been busy, did a few little things here and there, got my subs working again, well one of them, the other one is blown so I'm probably gonna buy anoter single and just start over, I installed a capacitor and the one is sounding pretty decent, I have two 10" Kicker CVR's with a 750x1 Kicker amp, and the cap is a Rockford Fosgate. I also installed a new rear Mazdaspeed emblem and a grille badge. Other than that nothing, winter time really keeps me on the dl in the mods department..

Also +1 on Knox keeping the MSP! You did too much to that car to get rid of it!
