I have the same code....mine just started it like a month ago. I've had the ssafc installed for over a year now.I know I saw a thread where someone had a problem with a P0171 (system too lean, b1) after the SSAFC install... Anyone point me there? I'm guessing that it's the wiring for the MAF at the SSAFC, but it's raining too hard right now and I don't have time to bring it into the shop.
When you grounded the green/black wire off of the pressure switch did the a/c compressor clutch engage?
Re-read that...if it does not then either the pressure switch is faulty or there is low pressure in the system.
From earlier in the thread:
Re-read that...
My Exedy likes to start slipping after a couple of hard runs through the dragon. When I had it out last week, it really didn't look bad at all. I've been looking at replacements and thought about going back with OE. I really don't want to spend $400 on a stage 2 or 3 clutch and found those "F1 Racing" 6-puck clutches on eBay for cheap. Does anyone have any experience with them or recommend a cheap alternative?
That'll work fine. Install it onto the low side with the car running and the A/C on. Just add small increments until the A/C compressor (hopefully) kicks on.This would work right?
Says it contains a sealer too for slight leaks.

You really can't go buy those gauges. They're cheap and don't really tell you much. The A/C system on our cars is supposed to be charged with 1.27lb. of refrigerant. That can is at about the right size to do a complete fill. I will try to look up and see what the pressure in the system has to be at in order for it to work, that way you can make a guess as to how much refrigerant was in the system before adding to it.k. Should I fill it till its on the low side of the blue section of the gauge?
Yes, but you don't want to spend the money on that. Last time I was down that way, there were quick lubes doing A/C evac and recharge for $60... Maybe you should just do that.do they make a legit pressure gauge that will give me a more exact pressure reading so I can see how much more to put in?
Although I'd rather you fix this yourself or at least diagnose it. I manage a shop, but I like for people to fix their own stuff. That's probably why I specialize in the higher end stuff because none of my customers are going to try to fix their own car. Haha.
