What have you done to your MSP today?

Okay, so I should start with that before anything elts ..? What would the actual test determine ..? Never heard of it before .... Exhaust leak in the coolent....
It's a combustion leak test- it detects combustion gases in the cooling system.

I'm only getting $1,800 from my tax return and I'm fairly certain I'm just going to spend it all on the MSP. All new mounts, Corksport exhaust, SSAFC, and a roof rack. But still not 100% on it...

Nice man I plan on doing the exact same thing! Except hopefully pay mine off.

Sounds like a good plan. You should have some moneys left over. Should find yourself a pope 3 inch fo
The rest of the $$$ is going to buying a used engine to have lying around WHEN this one grenades itself.

Well if it had to do with the head gasket or header wouldn't I be having a lot more issues than anti freeze going into the turbo... Like over heating , white smoke comming out of the exhaust ... Etc... Basicly the car would run like a pile of s***... It's running/driveing fine... No other issues other than that ....

you can have a blown head gasket with no oil in coolant or the other way around, you can also have it blown in such a way that it doesn't leak coolant but affects clyinder presures.

You can have a head gasket leaking between the coolant jacket and it won't result in poor running...

The seals in your turbo must be bad. There is no other way for the antifreeze to get into the turbo. If it was leaking in the engine it would burn it up and come out as smoke.

Is he getting coolant leaking directly from the turbo?? Or exiting through the exhaust manifold?

Into the turbo, its gettin.g into the pipe that goes to the intercooler.... Going to bypass it so that, that a.to freeze line isn't conected to turbo anymore...

You're getting coolant into your charge piping? Yeah, that's not a head gasket then. Lol. Turbo

Yeah, that's what I've been saying lol that'd why we are going to bypass it, and clean it up. And if anything happens after that , after driving it for like 2 weeks then we will know its the turbo and see where we can go from there...

There's no "and" or "if"... It's definitely the turbo...

anybody have any tricks to test a bad fuel pump for our cars? a mechanic was telling me there's "like a button on the fuel rail you can push in, turn the key and if the pump is working it will build pressure and the button will pop out" not sure what he's talking about

pull the fuel in "feed" line and turn the car off. if fuel comes out your pump is good

^I thought that would work, now to find time to work on the car....
