What have you done to your MSP today?

yep, new wires and such. replaced it all. Just didnt do the plugs. Will do those tonight and hope that fixes it.

Lame. Replaced my coils and wires thought my problem was fixed. But after 10 mins of driving it started the issue again. Just stuttering at higher RPMs when in boost. No CEL still

Going to replace the plugs tonight and if that doesnt do it I'm not sure where to go next. MAF?

The plugs should be the issue. My car would do this and someone with a EVO said I was blowing the spark out because his acted the same way on like 29psi lol im like bull crap you cant blow spark out at 6psi. Well next thing you know im changing plugs and it fixed the car.....

Weird, perhaps its from the bump in power from the FMIC? Or maybe a bad coil killed the plug. Either way, I hope you're right and this fixes it.

Oh yes i ment "fog" lol yeah thats what i did, can't really reach the ones on the passenger side though, i got the one on the drivers side all set. I was driving home on the highway today and when ever i went 85+ mph my car would start to shake/vibrait a lot.. the faster i went the more it would do it... any ideas...?

I experienced similar symptoms a few thousand miles after upgrading my intercooler piping. However, I did get a CEL, which I think was something related to the MAF increased air flow. I pulled my MAF, cleaned it, and reset my ECU. No further issue in the last 500 or so miles.

Lol I had your back on that one! And yeah, def would say bad alignment, mine did it for a while, but my girls' family considers me part of it now, so I get the family discount at their tire shop:)

Could be all of those and you can also throw a bent wheel into the mix. I was experienceing the same thing when I was poor and waited till I could afford new tires, put the new tires on only to find out that I had a bent wheel... Thank god for friends with extra RH's lol

put the new wheel bearing on, drove it home from my shop. yay. washed it than took a few pictures, only 1 came out half decent.

Looks like this was the issue. The gap on the plugs I pulled last night was close to the .044 they come gapped lol DOH! Swapped in new plugs gapped to .030 and the car is running like a beast with these cooler temps down here.

Oh well, should have started there in the first place but oh well, The ignition system was going to need replacing soon anyways I'm sure.

Another funny thing, Now that I sorted this out I'm no longer getting the boost loss I was getting before. The boost goes to 7 and stays there the whole time I'm on it.

Im thinking of cranking the boost up to 10...and loading the 10psi map on it. Need both new o2 sensors first me thinks

thats a positive ghostrider.
haha nice i needed a good laugh this morning

how about you stop being a girl and just do it who cares about o2 sensors lol. They don't do anything when your in open loop anyway. When you mash the throttle the ecu switches to open loop and dumps fuel off a preset fuel map it doesn't adjust the map based off o2 sensor readings or any other sensor for that matter.

its not the open loop that kills these cars is in what way or lack of how it goes into open loop. You could technically boost 12psi in closed loop on these cars if you let it.
