What have you done to your MSP today?

Made a protege into a convertible today, and then kept going.

Draw back of buying a car without a title and not being able to wait 30 days for one.

I feel so bad for that car, at least it's a yellow one.
I spy some terminator (03-04) Cobra seats in that shop, looks like 2 sets. Could be from an 01 but they look like termi seats.
 
Not quite, there is a wire in the factory mazda sercurity system that came out of the pin-out plug-in. Today while I was driving, my car cut on but would not turn over (ex: radio, alarm system, all accessories work) when i tried to restart it. Also, I discovered it doesn't have to be connected while driving. So, I am going to pin it back in and either cut it and put "quick connect" on it or run a switch from it.

Nice find, glad you figured it out. My alarm started going crazy on me a couple days ago so I pulled the fuse out. When I tried to start it obviously it wouldn't until I replaced the fuse and unlocked the car with the key fob. Just in case you were leaving the car a while and didn't want it to be moved, although it obviously disables the alarm.

MAM exhaust manifold is on the way to my house, about to drop some green on this 505 mani when the time comes, water/meth and also a P.E.P downpipe

I shed a few tears when i cut it up with the torches, sawzall, and concrete cutter with metal disk on it.

but one sets from a Mach 1 and another set is from a 01 Cobra, thats what i do for a living. Buy wrecked cars and bikes from auction and part them out. I do camors's, Trans Ams's, firbirds, GTOs, Mustangs, SRT4s, RX8s, GSXRs, Harleys and Jeeps

The MSP was the first one i bought to actually own and now my wallet is hurting. First attempt at buying a wrecked car for a personal vehicle....... FAIL!!!!!!

Although it sounds sad I would love to do that for a living. What color were the Mach and Cobra? My next car will be a 5 speed Mach 1, probably Azure Blue and if not that a Torch red 10th anniversary 03 Cobra. I love this MSP but I became a Mazda fan almost on accident, i've always been a Mustang guy.
 
2 weeks ago I had a coolant line to my turbo burst while I was in my house eating lunch...come out to a big puddle under my car luckily not while driving or somewhere far away. Replaced with teflon ss braided and good to go until...

A week ago hissing and misting from somehwere under the coolant housing where the sensor is. Looked like it was coming from the t-stat housing hardline that runs down the drivers side since it had hard slimy build up right where it seemed to coming from. Pulled things apart and ordered a replacement. Took taking off the coolant housing, ps pump, unbolting the steed mani to squeeze the t-stat housing through and replaced.

Turned out the hose that attached to the hardline had a small hole 1" from the end. So what took a whole afternoon could have taken 5 min to just cut off 1" of hose and clamp it back on. Then a day later the same hose split again right at the clamp. Hose is backordered from the parts house so I just put in some 5/8" heater hose and it was all good. More ss line will go in when $$ permits.

Until yesterday when I got home from work...my samco upper radiator hose looks pregnant on a hot engine and is gonna blow any time.

Moral of this story lots of boost, lots of heat and living in Houston is hell on the cooling system especially over 8yrs worth!!!!
 
I can imagine... I live in PA, run around stock boost and my engine bay still gets hot as ****.

edit: and I purchased an AEM EMS 4
