Looks like i'm going to have to pull the swaybar out to get to it, I will do it without dropping the subframe or jacking up the motor.

the stock endlinks are such a pain in the ass, that little allen key in the middle doesnt do s***
both of mine were siezed so i cut the endlink in half, then i pulled the strut off, drilled the top side out
then i used a hammer, knocked the bottom side off so it was just the little ball, and then cut that off with a dremel lol so much work
the escape endlinks are much easier though, they actually have a nut built in to the top and bottom

Gee I can't wait to install my clunk fix...
I need to grease my rear bushings. the clunk fix does the no clunk down pat........ but it still creaks since its fairly cold around now
about to go to the local dmv/court house to see if I can't convince them to drop the ticket I got for my exhaust being to loud. the officer said it can be modified but can't be louder than stock which is bs.
and then we are riding up to daytona beach to take pics on the beach

I was really impressed with the escape endlinks, they are the exact same length and were 10.00 a piece. They are much bigger and sturdier than the stockers and have greaseable bushings with zerk fittings. And the Duralast branded boxes had Moog endlinks in them, which I was extremely surprised to find. I'm installing the rears today but the fronts are going to take some work.

are there any performance upgrades with sturdier endlinks? id think itd be veerrrrry minimal but hey i could be wrong

as long as they remain strait, no. in fact the sturdier ones are heavier, which results in more unsprung (or in this case kind of semi-sprung I suppose lol) weight... though really that is minimal.

I doubt it, in fact no.
I got the new bushings and endlinks on the rear sway bar. Endlinks were a major PITA yet again, had to pull the RSB out of the car and attack the bolts that way. I never want to mess with the endlinks ever again but unfortunately the fronts need replacement. I was sure to use PLENTY of grease, probably way too much and the stock bushings and endlinks were totally shot after 94k miles.
But it was an amazing feeling to drive the car for the first time EVER without the clunk.

Are you always going to have your iphone? I have a scan tool and I use it regularly, just not sure if Id want to have to rely on always having a certain phone.

If you ditched the iphone, just pick up an ipod touch. If you're using a bluetooth OBD adapter, they work equally well with android also. (I'm looking into this very thing right now as well). What I'm hoping to find is something like a hypertech or HPTuners that works via a smartphone... but it doesn't look like anyone is there yet.

well, unfortionately it would be useless on the MSP... but I have other plans in the works.
