do the brozoil bushings help that much? i have twm shifter and the shifter bushings. i think i know where one set of bushings go. pics of the other rivet?

got pulled over for "loud exhaust". though I'm pretty sure it was the riced out cavalier that he actually heard... he saw my factory tip and thought it was modified.

There's only one rivet. Then there's bushings under the shifter & @ the tranny shift linkage.

Been there...

I told him it was stock, and he apparently believed me. He also believe me when I said I was wearing my seatbelt. (which is more true than my [catless] exhaust being stock)

you dont get pulled over for loud exhaust in iowa, period. i ran open headers on the camaro for a few weeks, mind you i was DD'ing it through town and never had any problems....and talk about thinking the windows on the car were going to shatter they were vibrating so much.

here is said camaro:

Needs wetsanding to get rid of the orange peel and imperfections. I'd go with 1000 grit and finish with 2000 grit then rubbing compound...

@Carl - I got pulled for my exhaust a couple weeks ago. Got a warning, but he was looking for drunk drivers and profiled me. Whatever...

damn internet, I had just written out a whole thing and it had problem loading page.. so long story short, I need a new fog light ballast, and I am buying a whole kit from DDM, figured I mine as well get a different color bulbs, I have 6000k fogs now, and 8000k headlights, I was going to get the 10000k if they were not tooo to blue, just a light blue, and deff. not any where close to purple tint to it, or I can just go with the 8000k so it matches the headlights.. anyone have the 10000k fogs? any other opinions?

scrubbed the crap out of it tonight for like 2 hours. cherry spots stick like nobody's business.

10000K is light blue, no purple tint at all, but if your looking for light output, your going in the wrong direction
if its just for looks then 10000K should be fine

replaced my crapped out Kenwood CD player, new amp and 12in sub has made a new home in my trunk...gotta luv BASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

ya I don't care about light output for the fogs, I have 6000k lights right now, I just figured I could get an extra set for kicks to try them out, so I will go with the 10000k, should be cool

ya I know, I have 2 12"s and 2 amps, one for the speakers and 1 for the subs, it's great (hear ya)

anybody ever taken the rear lip off? mine doesn't want to come off.

finished the shifter bushing replacement project. used my neighbors 12 ton press to get the bolt through the bushings in the 3rd link shift kit. It was a little harder than i expected to install. Also ordered a downstreamm o2 sensor and the pedders bushings for the front lower control arm came in today

I tried, gave up and took it to body and paint guy i know. he said he had to slowly heat it up (low heat) to loosen the adhesive
