What have you done to your MSP today?

I appreciate the sentiments guys... bad timing, but at least I already have the PTO approved.. Hows that for a silver lining?

Anyway, lets not let me jack this thread.

i drove mine to work. i really need a ss afc to get rid of the hesitation. also i think i may go get new spark plugs tonight. and probably send the money in for a ticket i got about a month ago......

Wow. The previous 2 pages are so full of run on sentences. My brain hurts a little.

And sorry to hear wagon.

well I'm upset, I just got the email back from G2 paint, saying "Unfortunately we cannot supply you with a custom color match G2 Brake
Caliper Paint Kit matching your 2003 Mazda Protege (Spicy Orange Pearl Metallic Tricoat-25T) because this color is a tricoat. It simply isn't
possible to replicate this color in a two part epoxy application. Sorry."
sucks big time, I guess I'll just have to go with orange.. and hope to hell it comes out ok hmm.... I'll have to check out powder coating them again,

anyone every had their calipers powder coated? or know about how much that might run me?.. if it's something crazy high I'll just go with the normal orange paint from G2 (sad2)

well after searching around, and asking them if there was anyway to get a color close to the spicy (which they couldn't do anyways) and not wanting to wait to find a powdercoating place.. I went with this
"Sunset Orange Metallic" looked pretty good in the pics, should come out close enough.. better than red...(it's the 2nd car on the page, the orange one obviously...)

Decided NOT to paint my calipers for the time being. Jury is still out whether or not I ever will, but for now, the monochromatic look is kind of cool. Last exterior mod arrived via UPS today. Gonna throw them on tomorrow morning and hopefully get started on my next CF project...

I posted a teaser... I'm having fun with this! Don't read anything into the fact that I only posted a picture of the front end...

;)
