What have you done to your MSP today?

yeah, but I don't want to deal with a 10 year old car over 100K miles... plus I'd like to have something a lil more upscale than the MSP.

I've told my wife (and she thinks I'm psychotic) but I will never get rid of the MSP. I will do countless motor transplants if that's what it takes. Doesn't mean I won't get other cars in the process but #1660 is mine for good. The only way I'll get rid if her is by a wreck that completely obliterates her (which means I probably wouldn't survive it anyhow) or if someone takes her by force in the middle of the night... which would be moronic seeing as it's bright ******* orange and not exactly a car you see everyday.

I love my MSP.

I love mine as well. but I want a more adult car, I want cruise, sunroof, and leather. and RX8s are just damn sexy. I don't drive nearly as much as I used to so mileage is less of a concern. The time to move on is approaching.. not quickly but approaching.

TheDirtyGoatee - I agree with you. Eventhough the msp sometimes pisses me off i care too much to give her up. It has to be something tragic for me to let her go. Got feelings for the old gal.

Fully agree, plan to keep it in garage and drive on weekends and do transplants as needed, my goal is to one day own the last remaining laser blue msp in the U.S.. will keep it until death and then convey it to a grandchild with a restriction on it that it cannot be sold so it will live on or donate it to mazda lol.

Well then whomever will own the last remaining Black mica, blazin yellow, titanium, and sunlight can hang with us. I will be owning the last remaining Spicy Orange. :D

Sorry to threadjack so bad (it's not uncommon for me though) but someone once told me Jay Leno purchased one of the Spicy's when it first came out. Is there truth to this? It's not on his site but then again the man owns TONS of cars.

it is true according to all known accounts, so in all likelyhood you will not own the last.

i agree, the MSP has been great to me, just rolled over 97k miles today and runs great. I will have other cars in the future, but the MSP will remain my DD for a long long time.

I have high hopes of keeping mine til death, maybe not my death but until the car cannot go on. It would be something to pass down in 15 years to my son. Maybe by then I'll have all these damn parts I have sitting here installed.

Here we go with the adult speech again...

Did someone wake up on the gwumpy side of the bed this morning? awwwwwwwww

ON-TOPIC: Washed my car yesterday. Felt good to get 8 layers of salt and grime off it, but it needs a SERIOUS detailing. Can't wait for spring...

Didn't do anything to the msp but cleaned the piss out of my womans mx3 to sell it. Who knew toothpaste actually polished dirty headlamp lenses lol. They look mint now

placed order for spare rh wheel to use as my spare tire instead of space saver

LoL only temporary.

Put in Front engine mount. Original one was ofcourse hanging on by a thread.

Huge difference, off throttle superbly improved. Vibrations not bad.

Doing the Rear one this weekend.

ATP waste gate puts out 8lbs of boost. Good thing I switch to Denso IK22 plugs (thumb) Cars runs Awesome now. Really enjoying my MSP.

PS. Also Passed smog. FINNALLY.
