What have you done to your MSP today?

Join the military your blood turns too coffee. You can not function without it. Of course the crazy watch schedules promote it.

5pm to 11am was the fun filled hours we got to work. But we got half the month off.

I'd go back to that in a heart beat.

See Underway when you got doubles it is 0400 to 0800 then a full work day 0800-1530 then sweepers and 1600-2000 watch again. That will kill you but mids you get late racks....

Its cool I like my crows... then again the more you get, the less watch. Now no more watch. (for now)

Sleep on duty... Just saying.
the men in charge of making us all safe.... makes ya proud doesn't it.

speaking of, I was wearing ACU's at the bar on sat and I got thanked... so.. since I don't deserve it I'm passing a random thank you on to all of you who do.

Thanks Carl. (That is his one nice statement for the day)
I seen a E-5 make E-3 for sleeping on watch. They do not play around. It is crazy outside of VA you get thanked, here they hate you.

well, the guy was wearing a bonds jersey... so.... should explain a lot for ya. LOL

anyway... enjoyed how well the MSP is running this morning... and thought about how great it will be to install the SSAFC.

Then I thought about how hard its going to be to resist boost control once I have that in.

Thats why were always in 2 or 4 man teams. 1 up, 1 down...

Took a look for my exhaust leak and tried to change the swaybar bushings this weekend. Got neither done. As I mentioned before, I thought maybe a bolt was loose or something on the left-side of my exhaust manifold. Well, lo-and-behold, here is what I found:

No idea how that happened since I've never touched those bolts since I've owned the car. I need to get it tapped out and replaced. Called mazda and they said they only charge 30mins of labor per bolt, but "who knows how many can break while we try to get the manifold off." Who wants to put money down that several "mysteriously break" while they do it?

As for the swaybar bushings, I'm curious as to how people have replaced the front ones without dropping the front subframe? I took a look and its hella tight in there. Did Mazda NOT do any long-term testing to see how hard it would be to replace them and how long they actually last? I guess it was mighty cold in Japan when they designed that, cause their heads were FRIMLY up their asses for the warmth...

^My front bushings are one of my projects for this spring. You can eye them and its tight but it seems like they should "shimmy" their way out once you can loosen the brackets enough. Loosening those brackets however does not seem to be an easy task, lol.

Actually did this yesterday...
Got my new tags on the license plates yesterday, after having been reminded the night before by a female state trooper that my tags were expired. Not only did she let me off with a warning for the expired tags and no front license plate, but on top of that she was HAWT!!! Seriously....

Also yesterday, changed out my coil packs with new oem and new NGK wires. If you haven't done this yet, do it! My car has never idled better. RPMs at idle jumped up about 50 from where they were and its smooth as silk; no hesitation or irregular idle period!
