What have you done to your MSP today?

WELL, just called another local mazda dealer...first one told me that i would have to go to a junkyard to get a p5 fog light harness, and the one i just called said they cost about 126 dollars...f that. anybody have a p5 fog light harness they wanna sell me?
 
took off the 03 sparco knob and put the stocker back on yesterday. thinking bout gettin a counterweight knob
 
put in NRG hood dampers. woot!

Good to see I'm not the only one who's kept the engine clean and stock (ish).

My CustomMSP SMIC will hide nicely too as I'm gonna throw high-temp black paint on the end-caps of it.
 
Still waiting on my pistons. Iordered them a month ago. I am starting to get worried and very impatient.

yeah, i've done a lot of stuff to the car but the engine is still stock! it's just running SO well that i hesitate to do anything to it. i was also thinking about an upgraded SMIC... i'll be curious to see how that goes for ya.

I look at it as one of those mods that can only HELP the engine. Cooler temperatures are very good for a car like this. I don't want to mess with anything else. Mazda built the car the way it is for a reason, and every time you mess with it, you negate the hours and millions it took to develop the car. They were designed to run forever, providing you drive it smoothly, and don't mess with the integrity of the design. It bit me in the ass on my last car, and I won't let it happen again...

hmmm... so are you just upgrading the core and leaving the piping stock?

I already have a Samco hot-pipe since I broke the stock one while replacing my WGA. It looks stock though, so I'm not worried about it. Otherwise, I'm leaving the rest of the piping alone. The hot pipe is the trouble spot anyways for flexing...

thats what i said when i bought my msp lol. but these cars are lot more fun when modded

I'm being good so far. Ordered my first mod (SMIC) and the only one I forsee in the future is a SS AFC. I've tossed around the idea of some BC's, but I can't justify the cost any time soon.

Again, I believe these cars are amazing when modded, but after the heart, head, and butt ache my last car gave me, I am refraining from it as much as I can.
 
Well the car came with a full Vibrant Exhaust... :) So I got some high-flows on there.

Let me rephrase: I PERSONALLY won't be doing any major modding to the car. The previous owner put a Vibrant exhaust and Tokico Illuminas on the car.
 
im new to MSP's and im trying to do some mods im buying hardpipes on friday but wanna buy a SRI for it ...... plus im planning on relocating my MAF to be running a VTA BOV any suggestions for the SRI ????
