yeah, everything else on my car is pretty low key, I like having the FMIC betraying that the car actually IS something... for those who know.

I hate not having a FMIC cause people always look at my car and go "Meh... silly color, must be a ricer." I swear I've told about 10 people at various meets that it's turbo'd and they look at me like "Yeah right..." and until I actually show them the snail, they don't believe me. Then they ask one of two things "Where's your intercooler?" or "What PSI?" Both questions I am very embarassed to say. Luckily, I didn't buy this car because I wanted to win street races or other peoples acceptance.
So, if and when I do get a FMIC... it will definitely be black.

I unpacked the MSP from the auto-x I DIDN'T go to this weekend, thanks to being extremely tired and having a ton of house projects to take care of. Drove it in this morning. Cried about how much I have to spend on maintenance this winter: struts, clutch, and various other maintenance pieces.

Honestly, if I'm talking to people and still get a blank look when I say Mazdaspeed, then I just walk away. Those who get it are the ones who matter...

I talked to a guy who drove cavilier and he knew mazdaspeed... when he was talking about how bad ass it was i gave him a "not sure if serious" look... thank god he was kidding, but... for a non-car guy i was surprised he knew mazdaspeed.

I kinda agree... I certainly prefer to hang with the people who "get" my car. But when all's said and done, I'M THE ONE THAT MATTERS! I din't get my MSP so others would be happy or think I'm cool. I got it cuz it was what made ME happy.
