What have you done to your MSP today?

i think its 2.8 or 2.9 qts but most ppl just fill it up til its full with the 3qts

So I need 3 qts. of tranny fluid? I'll be buying probably from Autozone or pepboy's, any suggestions on trans fluid brands?

And I got the oil change's covered, I bring the 4qts of mobil 1 and oil filter, to the shop that does the work.

I don't chnge the oil or trans fluid myself.

#1) make sure you get something good. I recommend full synthetic, and make sure its LSD compatable.

#2) WHY THE HELL DON'T YOU DO IT YOURSELF!?
 
I ordered pistons today Arias 8.5:1 motors going to the shop as soon as they get here.
 
on a DD car wouldn't you rather have 9:1 though?

Well Depending on what you are really looking for... also depends of what HP-PSI you want to play around. Id say if you are staying in the 15 PSI area 9.1 Pistons are good choice, but if you have in mind going beyond that PSI its better to run 8.5 pistons to run higher boost and prevent engine damage

I install little things, that don't involve getting dirty. Like bov's,intakes,fmic's. I let mechanics do the dirty work like oil changes.

Plus a few of my friends are mechanic's, so I get stuff installed for free or real cheap. It only cost me $50 to install my turbo manifold. You know how much that woulda cost at a shop!

yes and no... I'll have enough mods to make up for lower end loss. plus I am planning on 18+ PSI.

didnt see 2003.5's post.... his is better defined then mine lol

I know they are awesome... Dad had them in his funny car, and we have them in the '55 meth motor...

I was able to push 515whp in my last non recorded dyno session before i blew the head gasket playing stupid with my friends Gallardo.. if you use them along with Pauter rods there is nothing that both of these toys cant handle with the right tune and supported mods..

I thought your best dyno was 474. This 515 number is new to me!!!

Yes when i did my 474.8whp dyno video i had few issues, IM leak, Intake Heat soak ETC, a week after i fixed those issues, fix the leak of the IM, did my own Cooler air intake and went back to the dyno this time at 26 PSI instead of 25. car did 515whp and 420 Lbs torque, but i didnt record it cause at that time didnt had my camera with me.. after that I went like i mentioned earlier to test it on the private road i told you and played against my friend Richard with his Gallardo. after few runs my EBC for a reason i still dont know allowed a 45 PSI spike, which blew my head gasket...

The reason i didnt said anything about its because ive learn the hard way that if you dont proof of what you say that can lead to a massive and hardcore bashing in this forum.. but i think even tho i dont have that proof i do have a a video that can mostly vouch those numbers.

45 PSI on an MSP, and the only casualty was a HG.... this is the sort of thing myths are made of.

How often should tranny fluid be changed? I'm saving up for a good set of track tires and some cheap lightweight weels (Rotas anyone?) and when I do that I'm gonna go for some DOT4 brake fluid and probably change the tranny fluid too, just to be sure that everything is running like it should.
 
My bad i dont know why i wrote 45 psi, its was 38 psi spike and i blew the head gasket cause my map was not tuned to work on those pressures.

even at 38 the point stands. lol, your tune musta been damn good just given the fact that you didn't have to pick pieces of your rotating assembly out of the pavement/firewall/your leg... etc. lol
