What have you done to your MSP today?

everything, besides a turbo lol. my only point was that the core is a LOT bigger than necessary. I didn't really like any of the options out there, so I went custom FMIC. I'm happy, but definitely see why others are happy with what they decided to do.

its been proven that a properly set up fmic is very beneficial, even at stock boost. as long as the ic piping in not too long or wide and the core is not excessively huge. cold air is cold air.

put on my Vibrant catless mid-pipe today.... runs awesome and sounds amazing on WOT. also, i want to recommend that EVERYONE buys a fidanza flywheel.... improved the driveability of the car 100%. it helps the engine overcome the hesitation and makes driving less of a chore and more of a pleasure!

And makes traction issues in 1st even more of a problem than they were before

Nothing today other then drive by the shop and saw it up in the air... still waiting to gear back about the warrenty coverage.... Not having my car wants to make me (drunk) and not being sure if they are going to cover it or not.

They are going to cover my trans!!! 3rd gear gone..., 3rd gear slider shot, all brass parts are going to be replaced, throw out bearing going to be replaced(warrenty doesnt cover). I have plenty of life left in the stock clutch (about 50%). After everything is said and done I will have a rebuilt trans for just under 400 bucks(after my deductable and a few other charges)!!!!!

The closer the clutch gets to worn the faster it will wear. If the clutch lasted you 2 yrs to get to 50% it will be gone before another yr has gone through. Give them a clutch and have them throw it for you while they havbe it apart.

I would if I could afrod it trust me. Even if it was at 70% just so it would be one less thing to worry about but funds do no permit that from happening. Its the stock clutch with 78k on it.

ummm, actually, if you spend the $$ on tires like you should, traction isn't a problem at all. i spin ever so slightly in 1st gear and hook up like a beast in 2nd. i love the flywheel, i'm sorry if you don't... it's one of my top 3 mods to the car to date.

i myself would rather have a working clutch then a 3rd gear. lol im just kiddin..but not really atleast i could just skip to 4th. save up for a clutch, it sux u cant do it now cause its ay easier while there already there but iknow how it is my cigarette lighter in the car has not worked in 3 years but my rims are shiney and everytime i tru to use the lighter for power and it doesnt work i get pissed of. procrsatination will get ya, hopefully u dont have a problem with ur clutch n e time soon

yeah I wish I could aford to get it now and get it installed for free! Oh well s*** happens hopefully it will last tell income taxes

Bought the VC gasket kit. The new vc will go on tommorow. Also got some sand paper and black paint. And i gotta finish those damn calipers.

ya cali has a 8k tax credit if you buy a house right now, another 10k if you are first time buyer. but being in the military and being here 3.5 yrs already it would not be bright for me this market. got my speed paid off and trying to use that money for the 3 and other bills, once the 3 is paid off PG and CS better be ready lol
