yikes. no appendectomy?
What have you done to your MSP today?

nope, due to my colon being very infected, it made my appendix grow and cause severe pain. so it was a double wammy, pain in my appendix and colon. but after being in ICU for a few days the antibiotics helped my colon, making my appendix go back to normal but my colon is still a bit infected which is why they have me on some more antibiotics for another week.
i'll be (nana) in no time

well, glad to hear its on the up swing at least...
oh yea, being away for so long is the reason why i didn't get back to Outlaw's post to my post on removing my unichip.
um, ya, its a piggy back but it won't pass emission/inspection. tried it last year. it failed, all i did was unplug my unichip, run the car for a drive cycle and went back the next day and passed.
so yea, it will affect emission/inspection. atleast here in PA.

Well I guess that sucks, I didn't know it would do that, I know people who passed wit hit though.... Interesting, Luckily I'm just going to get a Haul tech and Registering my car up in Cleairfield county so I don't have Emissions, JUST inspection, I just have to Hide the wires greatly so they dont see the Standalone

i'll admit that most shops use the standard factory ecu settings that are the plug type towards the ecu will have an affect on the unichip.
NOW. the type that plugs into the gas tank? ya, no problem you can pass emissions with the chip on, i passed that 2 years ago because i went got it done that way in York. now the ecu plug in... nope, sorry, not happening.
lol, im not gonna die yet. god forbid lol.

ya, there's the gastank plug that they put to pass emissions and then there's the type they stick this sensor dildo into your exhaust pipe and they measure it with the ecu showing your emission results.

Um... WE HAVE OBD2, they dont do the pipe int he exhaust, they just plug into the ECU and if theres no problems its good. Thats how I was taught when I was learning about Inspection, just OBD1 cars you use the pipe in the exhaust, NEVER hear of the gastank stuff.

if you have a proper tune, you should pass a sniffer test, and the only way to fail an OBD II test is to have your CEL on... either test is passable if your tune is done right.
i've been clean. no cel's got the stock tune. and failed last year. so i did it to be safe. if all of a sudden its passing... it didn't work for me last time. so i should be good. i'll plug it back in. its literally... like literally, a 5 min plug in from the ecu lol. no big deal.
ya, it exists, maybe not so common but, i just try to be safe than sorry. last year if it wasn't for them to be nice they would have double charged me, so i just removed the chip, drove it all day and went back.

only reason why i want to get the complete stock setup is b/c i want to turn the P5 to a MSP stock turbo setup and put the really good stuff from the p-5 on my MSP! i actually drove the MSP last night.. first time in over 3 weeks! cant wait to put in the LT8S and all the new goodies from the P5 and up the boost to a nice 20 PSI!!!!!
i don't care the reason why. i just know it'll help me out...

well.. i've been slowly getting my car ready for inspection... once i get papers back from glen, i'll have to get tags and inspection.. yesterday- fixed the oil pan leak w/ a new gasket.
today-put both accessory belts on as they were chewed to ****. they're squeeling..need to fix that.
attempted to fix the exhaust leak, but got the wrong gasket, thought it was leaking at the cat..but NOPE. it's leaking at the jpipe, or s pipe..not sure.. i'll prolly do them all.. ****.- that's tomorrows venture.

thanks. i've got all the tools and know how.. i'm just HOPING that the bolts dont break..
and something i noticed.. WHY the **** do the msp engine bays get so ******* hot.. it's hotter than my lx t was... christ. anyways.. i'm thinking about polishing the stock mani.. it'd look bling bling lol.. maybe.
