damn, I got a replacement rotor at Levine's auto shop and also got 3 others turned (1 was replaced because it was cracked) but all in all, it was $120... I thought rotors, at least the ones on autozone I was looking at were like $80 for stock replacement ones

Got a ticket this morning with it. Clocked me at 76 in a 55 but only got the 5 over. Pretty nice cop. For some strange reason I got popped in the same spot a few years back for a 77 in a 55 with a 5 over ticket and haven't learned my lesson. Haven't had a ticket in 6 years too! (end of sob story)
 
Im getting a pair of brembo blanks for the front for 100.00 for the pair, which is good because it is more than the cost of machining (1hours worth of labor) but I'm not machining the rotors that i have no idea if they have done before.

if you have to ask.... yeah, you basically just signed your own death warrant.
 
One thing to realise is slicks at the track with a trap of 105 is enough to scare the ricers away but thats about it. Axis I thought you had a forged block in the msp? Something about an MS3 that has seen track duty with slicks having been pushed pretty hard would make me very nervous. Especially as cheap as they are to mod I'd rather a stock one.

no i wasn't forged....with my income taxes this year i bought a 626 mani, thunder mani PnP, boost controller, perrin intake, egt gauge, wideband gauge, boost gauge, triple pod pillar, meth injection kit (local sale), almost bought a gt28rs, greddy type s bov (local sale), motor mounts (local sale), and a bunch of other s***...i was pretty much going to push the msp to it's limits on stock block...but then i realized that with all that money that i just spent and for how much i was paying for the car on a 4 year loan ($284) ...that i could have a MS3 with more power then my MS3 build with lower miles and once again a newer car on a 6 year loan for $100 more a month...so i sold all my MSP build s*** and am now picking up TRU-BOOST's MS3 w/o the nitrous though...so in the mean time after i sold all of my MSP build stuff i spent that money on a down payment on a 07 Mazda3 HB for my gf...and since i sold the MSP i have just been driving my beater.

for the record, you sold your MSP build s*** because you thought you snapped a 2nd diff, IIRC, and it was just a shaft popped out or something..
 
well I didnt get any work on the DP done lastnight, second shift decided to screw up all but 2 of our paing guns yesterday... had to spend all night rebuiling them...

well yes i thought that i snapped my LSD but my tech who fixed my car said that it was the drivers side axle...so before he had a chance to take a look at it and fix it....i had sold the majority of my build parts..cuz i was preparing for at the least a $1000 fix (cuz i thought it was the lsd)...but it ended up costing me $130 for the new axle and $80 for him to fix it and $100 for the tow to his house (20 miles away)....so i paid him and took care of fixing my car and sold everything...and then used the rest of the money to buy my gf her 07 mazda3 hatch (pussy points) ha
