hmm, well if we use them, and since they were sitting outside for about 6 months, he is getting new pads.. so would that work? I have like 2 sets of rotors, 1 from my new msp that were taken off a while ago (I got slotted/drilled now) and than the rotors from my totaled car, he just machined them to get the rust off I think.. but replaced the 4th one because of the crack.. that might work?
but I think I will be selling the machined ones and using the other ones
-also my brothers car still has rotors on his, the car has been sitting for 2 years before we bought it, do you think we could get those machined and they would be good to go?.. or rotors sitting for that long should be chucked or something?
Depends if your talking surface rust or the actual face is rusted off. Many times northern cars actually have the faces of the rotors rust completely off whereas southern cars tend toget just a surface rust that can me sanded off.
