What have you done to your MSP today?

Installed my new medieval motorsports passenger motor mount... I'll have to mod the engine damper bracket or get a longer bolt for the motor mount to clear the damper bracket..

So far the vibrations have been dramaticly reduced with the new motor mount with the ac on(saying the engine damper isnt on). Yes I did a before and after vibration check with the damper off! Needless to say I will be getting a new front medieval motorsports motor mount shortly! BTW I had 3 solid mounts and a engine damper prior to this mount... front(AWR), rear(SU), Trans(Medieval), and now Pass (medival).

Seriously the vibrations right now with my currenty setup no damper is less then the vibrations with a full set of SU mounts on my old auto p5. Its even less then having 3 SU mounts and stock rear the P5. I don't think I even really need the damper however Im still curious if that thing will have any noticable affects on vibrations, noise, ect... that you get with any solid mount.

The only down side that I see and I am not to sure if its because I do not have my damper installed is that I do get a little more noise on de-acceleration when out of gear tell the rpms get down. This might be to the fact that I do not have my damper installed or just having all solid mounts in now.

Quick question fellas, I have a friend who own a Mazda GT-R AWD, he recently did his engine with forged internals and added a GT3071R turbo and got mad cheap a set of RC 750cc Injecrtors, he was asking me how much HP can you make or can these 750cc Injecrtors hold ? i really have no idea or dont know how to calculate that, any ideas in here ????? Thanks.

750's could prob. go to 400 HP's I think.

Injectors are only how much gas goes in, you know that, it can be as much as u can push it to be! and I dont think hes going to reach it on a GT30. he MIGHT, but I think hes still safe.

According to him, he wants around 550-600 HP, this friend of mine have s*** load of cash trown into his GT-Rs Engine and got those injectors from another friend for 100 Euros all 4 brand new, and he was asking me if he can achieve those HP with these injectors or what size does he need,,, like i said i have no idea what injector size he needs or if he can make that amount of HP with his modified GT30 turbo and all around forged internals and those injectors

Well, he should be safe, and since he has them, He can just use them untill the point of which theres not enough fuel, then he has to find 1000cc injectors, I dont see why he just doesnt drop them in and test them out :D no harm would be done really.

Yeah, that sounds very reasonable, That thing hawls ass bro, I really wish my MSP were AWD like his GT-R, oh boy is so sweet, i cant wait to have my car back at the road..

Well from what I hear the AWD likes to snap stuff a lot, they are weak as Sh** from what i hear. Did he get alot of his stuff custom made for him?

Need alittle help. I have trouble shifting into 2nd. Its like i got to force it in(no girnding tho). It also happens a little when i shift into 1st. But the rest are fine. I was thinking i could be the motor mounts. Any suggestions?

i've always had to use more force to get it into second compared to the other gears. i thought thats just how these trannys are.
i have inserts in the front and side mm's and it didnt help

I had the same problem last year with 1st and 2nd gear. finally it wouldn't
go in at all. turned out that the thin brass spacers between the gears got mashed up and bound up the gears stopping them from switching.

I got the same insert setup as you(f/r/sides). So im not the only one with this issue.

Im thinking about getting the damper thing that StealthWyvern got. That might help. Its really annoying when driving in traffic.

is this a recent issue? cause mine's always been like that. do u run synthetic gear oil?

Ive had this issue for a while now. It just never really bugged me much before. But now im just curious to see whats up. And if there is a solution. You mean motor oil? Yea i run Mobil1.

I might change the transmission oil to synocromesh. I know when i put that in my old car. It would shift like butter.

i think its one of the quirks of these transmissions. kinda like how it refuses to go into reverse sometimes.

And i was going to get a CF DGM lip, but now im going to get a 2003.5 lip and overlay it in carbon fiber, I will be the only one with one :)
