What have you done to your MSP today?

reason why i hate AWR

This is what will happen if you only run with one upgraded mount. Sure the front will hold better but the engine will still try to move about the other mounts. This creates excess stress in the front mount and will ultimately lead to what is shown above. FWIW, I've had the front/rear mounts and side inserts from AWR since June '06 and not a single problem. I think that speaks enough for their reliability...

just got another check in the mail from the insurance company for $1,405.... which makes the total damages on my car $6500... I get my car back Monday finally. Its been over a month!

What if you run the front and sides?
Then you won't destroy the replaced mounts but you'll likely destory the rear even more. Engine vibrations (energy) will take the path of least resistance. I don't see why so many people complain about the rear mount. If you get the 70 durometer it really isn't all that bad. You can't modify your car and then complain about it running harder in the process.

i wouldn't mind installing mine, it's just that the guy i got it from said it was a 95. not exactly sure what i was thinking. that's the only reason why i have not and have been worried about tremendous vibrations.

i have the whole thing ripped apart right now with 70% of the Turbolife FMIC installed. Managed to puncture a hole in the radiator (they're so much more delicate than you think) and create a hole/crack in the a/c condenser line (antifreeze spraying everywhere at one point). I'll be finishing it up tomorrow and naturally taking care of my puncture wounds... via epoxy.

cant wait to be running my new setup!

that stuff is refrigerant, and its all been released from your system

epoxy wont make the cut, you will be needing a new line of you plan on ever using your a/c again (thats the high pressure side of the system and reaches 160-180 psi low side is 100-120 is i remember from my macs class correctly), not to mention you will need to have your system evacuated after the repair is made and have your a/c system recharged, while your at it, replace your receiver dryer (a/c drier) because the desicant becomes saturated after being exposed to the atmosphere and wont perform well, if at all since your system has been opened

also do not attempt to charge your system yourself, spend the money to have your system serviced, exactuated, and charged properly, the cans of refrigerant at autozone, pepboys etc have additives such as dye, stop leak and oil that make up a majority of the can therefor you get less refrigerant. Stopleak does more harm than good and there is always much more oil than needed in the can

bottom line, get it serviced by a professional

also just saw your from ambler? im located in warminster
ever around these parts? there was a silver or ti msp behind be a while back in the morning

Installed my wb guage today. Wasnt to hard but it sucks installing it when ur sick. My nose kept on running. :( But it was an easy install.

another motor mount question... I know that the front and rear mout take the most abuse, So I was going to replace them with AWR 80 duro or so an then I was thinking about filling the side mounts with polly-eurothene until I get the cash to buy the side mounts... has anyone tried that?
