What have you done to your MSP today?

well, the only reason I ask is cuz my stock turbo blew, and well I'm just gonna go ahead and build the motor... and the PG website says it will bolt right up to the stock mani, but then I hear it doesnt... I was just hopeing some on in here has tried it...

it bolts up but the housing needs to be rotated so that it will meet up w/ the DP I believe.

Didnt Luke, or he might still have a steering wheel that fits the P5/MSP that has red stiching in it? I think it came from a particular miata.

Its out of the msm miata we had to mod it for the p5 cruise control should fit right in a protege though its the same steering wheel.

Btw while I am here...fale on the info. You clock a turbo so you can line up the intake side with your ic piping. The double penetration will line up anyway because its fixed based on the exhaust mani flange.

doh, yeah i didnt think that through right, I had it backwards.

I am considering taking MS3 rear seat skins and seeing if they can be put on the MSP cushions at an apholstry (sp?) shop. The only other things I'd need to switch out would be the shifter boot, I need a new one anyways and the steering wheel, possibly could be redone with red stitching, Rogue has one. The guages would a huge headache and not worth it imo. Everything else is just kosher.

Dale if you're interested in seats cheap, I can get you these TenzoRs. The brackets were the bad apple and the driver's seat leans too far back but I told you I was going to make it fixed back anyways so that wouldn't be a problem after that. You'd be on your own for brackets though. And I assume you know plenty of car people that could help you get those for you.
It's in his car.

yeah thats what I was thinking... but I had to get out for a bit.

yes it bolts up directly

you just have to clock the intake side so the housing's outlet is facing 90 degrees with the ground, then you also may need to modify the wastegate bracket to make it longer (I had to but I ordered mine from a shop local to me rather than protege garage)

and vel: vacuum your interior, man! lol

90 degrees to the ground sounded wrong to me at first... then as I thought about it, you were exactly right...

if people are talkin about turbo swapping to a 28rs and don't know what a compressor is... they need to hand over their MSP keys. lol

hahahaha
that may be true but still...you can be mechanically inclined with cars, but be a n00b to forced induction and not know which side the compressor is

unfortionately true... but the side that COMPRESSES the intake charge... is logically the compressor... with a little application of common sense, we can teach these newbs yet.
