What have you done to your MSP today?

I think I am getting back like somewhere in the ballpark of 3500 too. Mostly because I am now married this year v. last tax season. However, most of that money is going towards bills and home improvements. Sorry MSP, you are just not a worthwhile investment.

1500 is going toward what I owe mom (she helped me out with the MSP so I could get financed), ~$800 is going to surgery for the dog (for this the gf will be eternally endebted to me), and some portion will be going toward bills. I'm hoping about $600 (ballpark) will be enough to finish my FMIC setup (hot pipe, flange/welding, and couplers), get a boost gauge, WGA, midpipe, and drop springs. Oh, and repair my fugly front lip...

even after smoking the diff, the MSP doesn't come near costing what the gf does... so... to answer your question... I need something else to take away the rest of my money!

If you want to know the truth, get you a girl that you enjoy being around that can budget. I never knew that making the little bit we make as a couple we could save as much as we're able. It's truly amazing.

Back to the topic. Filled 'er up with premium. Only cost me 25 bucks or so. God I love GA!

got my CEL read tonight. i forget the code exactly. my best guess is P0201. anyway, the tech said he thinks it's the 02 sensor connected to the exhaust manifold. especially considering it's covered in electrical tape from the previous owner. my poor car was has been so abused.

got rear lip sag fixed, they couldnt do the touch up on the bumper because it rained today :(

How in the hell does someone abuse it in less than 20K mi.? I mean, you got it at like 10K or something? They need to be shot.(gun)

So this morning I noticed that at WOT my car feels to be knocking/fuel cutting. If it is fuel cut, it's very soft - not like I'm hitting a wall. This makes me think it's detonation as it only happens at WOT at 10 psi and I just feel these little jerks about once every second or so. It stops as soon as I back off just a little. Only WOT too, I can be at 99% and it won't happen. Anyone experience anything similar?

dude you have no idea what this car has been through. there's obvious signs that it was modded. before my accident, the front bumper was all cut out. aftermarket (p5 i assume) cooling fans were in place and not very secure. obviously they had a front mount on it. my entire exhaust system except for the downpipe, which is stock, is a piece of s***. though the downpipe isn't that great either lol. especially my muffler which is just welded on and they did a bad job at that. also i can't get my key fobs programmed because there's a loose connection in the A pillar and also a hole that was drilled in it so they had some rigged up guages as well. whoever owned the car apparently liked to do his own work. and for the record i bought it with 8900 miles LOL.

i need to do the rear lip fix. i got the 3m tape but havent had a chance yet

he used the same kind of gum adhesive as the factory did. but it cost me nothing, and I know he did it right so im happy

I put one of those mazdaspeed badges in my DGM grill today. I couldnt find how everyone was attaching theirs so I added some nylon screws to the back of it so i can hold it on better and not use zipties or rely on the adhesive. Plus i painted it to match the stock badges as best as i can. Im happy with it.

Before anyone says anything...I know the rubber washers are large, from the front they look like a design behind the badge that i kind of like but if it doesnt work out i will cut them.

Im not diggin the washers, if you had maybe use a rectangular piece of rubber behind the whole thing that might look better

Finally stopped raining long enough to build the bracket for the driver's side MS3 seat. I'm happy with it.
