Damage is minimal just a little chip in the paint on the bumper, I was getting ready to turn onto a road and while I was waiting a bus was turning onto the road I was on, he went too wide and was almost certainly going to hit the front of my car, I put the car in reverse and coasted back (spedometer did not even move) and thought I had a few more inches and didnt and bumped into the car behind me. Damage can be fixed with some touch up paint in the meantime until I can have it properly blended or have the bumper repainted. (might wait and do front bumper and hood at the same time (they have been fixed with touch up paint from road debris I found after buying the car)) Chip is vertical (from his license plate) and about 1/16 of an inch wide (if not less) and about 1.5 inches long (if not less)
I figure the tradeoff is good; little chip in the paint on my bumper vs possible bad damage to the front end from getting clipped by a turning bus
