What have you done to your MSP today?

not really. with the haltech standalone (any standalone for that matter) you cut the stock ecu fuel and timing control out. therefore, the stock ecu cannot perform fuel cut.

Touche. but lot of members on this forum believe that we have a governor that limits our speed.....which we dont like you said its fuel cut not a limiter. Thats all I was pointing out.

No matter what..It still stops SPeed from increasing...so I would call that a limiter..No matter how you term it.

I know its there..I have hit it in my speed before.

DAMN.... Look at that speedometer move.....i think it shows we don't have a governor limiting top speed.
That Speedo Is moving that fast because the tires are spinning..not because the car is accellerating that fast.

Geez...I can do that in a toyot corrolla in the rain if I so deemed it neccessary.

Not dogging your car Mazdaspee20035...I know you have some good numbers and A hell of a lot of mods done...But I am just stating a Fact of what people are misinterpreting as the speed increasing that fast...as in realty ....Its not.

lol...Good point Forcefed.....I am just giving Mazdaspeed20035 some props.....I mean that is one hell of a car....

[threadjack/] Hey forcefed you gotz PmZ[end /threadjack]

Nice numbers.

I know you used it as a baseline comparison, but if you want a true comparison you should fix the problems. reason being, cause at your level of HP and PSI a manifold leak can make a 20whp difference. Id hate to see inflated numbers on the manifold. This can lead to high expectations.

great job on the car though. Must be a blast to drive.

Here is my Yesterday Dyno Video.. I still need to fix some issues i'm having, car have a crazy Intake Manifold Leak, my clutch is giving up on me, is slipping on 4th and 5th gear at full boost, also i need to get the Intake Filter away from the turbo insane heat and hot air the Radiator Fans are blowing, also i need a better tune to run higher boost, let me know what you guys think, once again positive and negative feedbacks are welcome..

I can't wait for 505zoom's Intake Manifold..... RICH HURRY THE **** UP !!!!! lol lol J/K

lol i just wanted somethin different. And yea i know what you meant i just didnt think it was good to give it full throttle with in the 1st 500 with the clutch and flywheel being brand new

oh yes, you WANT to do a few full throttle runs...it is necessary to properly break in the motor

if you don't trust me there (wouldn't blame you considering I'm not a performance shop owner/employee lol) you can pm steve at nsnmotorsports about it....hes got a very good set of regulations for a proper break in on the msp motor and has openly said here that a mix of occassional full throttle pulls is necessary to properly break in the msp motor after you just built it (thumb)

mazdaspeed2oo3.5:

OH DAMN! those are some of the best numbers I've personally seen! (other than those crazy puerto ricans lol) geez, I was shooting for around 315 cause I didn't think I could hit anything much higher than that on the fs-de! you have just inspired me to raise my goal a bit lol

WOO!

I definitely agree with you Terbow, i didn't fix the issues I'am having because i was so desperate to know what numbers i was putting down after the modification and parts added by TBK and myself after the 372whp Dyno. not exactly to know the difference with Rich's manifold. but yes the difference with and without the little problems I'am running you know. Another thing i would like to make it clear is that my car were not spinning tires at the dyno, that Pull was done on 5th Gear all the way to rev limiter which it was set to 7,300 Rpm, the needle and car did accelerate that fast and no spinning tires were involved, that's actually how the car accelerates when the turbo kicks in but in the dyno and not pulling his own weight, we don't have to forget that in the dyno the car is not pulling his own weight and it does accelerates faster than in the streets. That 100-165mph pull was a real Acceleration when the turbo kicked in.

About how does it feels to drive it, is a blast man, is just crazy crazy, the first video i posted is just not close to how it feels and accelerates, in that video i just couldn't do better, i was entering the highway in a huge uphill not even a flat road, holding the camera with 2 fingers and the steering wheel with the other 3, shifting fast without missing a gear was near impossible, also keeping the car, my eyes in the road and not crash was also to hard. car is lot faster than in the first video, i just need to get any sort of a camera mount or something to be able to do nice runs, nice Launch's for you to see how does it feels and look, also i want to do fly by videos, highway rolls etc. one of the other things that are holding me down is actually the fact that if you upload racing or rolling videos where they can see the license plates of your own car or any other cars going fast in here in Spain you'll go to jail if you post them on youtube, Spanish authorities are checking every single uploaded racing videos with Spanish Ip's to **** you up, that's the another reason i'm posting my videos on Streetfire.net than in youtube.. i need to find the right place to make my videos without the risk of getting ******, speeding tickets in here are not the same than in US, you can easily get a 3000 Euros ticket from speeding, depending how fast are you going, Jail time, take points, well actually in here they give you points not deduct points from your license, you have 12 like in US, but they give you not take them. also you can't go to traffic schools to recuperate them, you just have to wait a long ass time to get them back..

Depending how long Rich takes to finish the intake manifold and ship it here to Spain, i might fix my intake manifold leak, try to fab a colder air intake, because having the filter there in the turbo is not good at all and is not helping as well, that turbo gets so damn hot is not even funny plus the hot temperatures of the turbo are being blow by the radiator fans straight to the turbo where the filter is at reducing the possibilities of doing a better run and making some more HP. i think the clutch can hold few other dyno runs but definitely is dying if you do to many consecutive runs or driving hard, lucky i bought a new ACT Xtreme Pressure Plate and ACT 6 Puck Sprung Racing Clutch as spare back in Miami this combo holds over 460 lbs of torque, the actual setup i have it holds 330 lbs torque and I'm already over that and that is the reason is starting to slip. i was also told by the people who did the dyno after checking my Haltech map they said we have lot of room for improvement, that i needed a better map to gain more power but also fixing the problems i'm actually having...

yes sir, im definitely not doing anything stupid. things are getting nasty world wide to people that go over speed limit in a racing manner...

yeah tell me about it. Thats why I'm considereing fixign all the stupid little stuff on my MSP and leaveing it how it is and starting on my truck. So far I plan on dropping it 3/5 or 3/4.. not sure on the amount of drop yet and maybe bagging it as well, tint, system, redo leather and wood trim peices, custom grill, chrome wheels(not sure on size), roll pan(not sure yet), new smoother chrome front bumper, and a few other things here and their.

If I do get the MSP to where it has decent power it might be to tempting to put my foot in it! The truck has more power but is obviously slower then the MSP. However im content in just pokeing right along in it.
