What have you done to your MSP today?

it spools up really quick compared with my buddies with the large trim, and it pulls WAY harder than the gt28

torque steer is definately more noticeable as well

but I don't have any dyno charts either, this is all on the butt dyno....but the butt dyno is obvious in this case lol
 
Yesterday i was playing around with my haltech and i was able to fix a lil bit my idle, also playing with the boost, and rev limiter, i raised the Rev limiter from 7k TBK left it to 7.5k also changed the Shiftlight shift point from 6,850 rpm to 7,390 rpm and added 3 more Psi of boost, the AFR's seems to be perfect at WOT I'm seeing 11.4-11.8 stable, i still need to figure it out why the heck my AFR's at idle are so damn Rich, 10.2, 10.4, 10.6, 11.5, 12.6, 14 max, and goes back down to 10, the engine runs even, no bouncing or stalling, even tho i have a mad IM leak, also activated the Closed Loop 02 option in the haltech, car is running better now, just eats to much gas at cruising speeds and idle. I'm Learning little by little my Haltech, i bet is fun ass hell to know how to tune and create your own maps, there is always room for improvements
 
I may be trying to fool myself into justifying buying a shift knob, but the gearbox just feels smoother with this two pound monster from TWM. Getting into second isn't nearly the notchy b**** she used to be, and you just kinda give the thing a little push in the right direction and it falls into gear.

I'm a little worried I'll really ram it and bend up a fork.
 
ok someone told me to ask my question here my car is popping but i think its still spooling up and blowing off anyone know what a blown turbo sounds like

what are you using for the closed loop o2 control? the haltech has to see a signal from either a narrowband sensor or a wideband sensor. and i thought you said you removed the narrowband from the exhaust...so wideband?
 
a blown turbo er feels like absolutely NO boost

you would know if your turbo is blown, your car would become slow as s*** lol

a little more description might help in the diagnosis though?

my car feels gutless to me but then again maybe im expecting more out of the turbo coming from a na auto p5.

what exhaust do you have? my car used to pop all the time (backfire) with the vibrant exhaust. it has now settled down.
 
he said in another thread that his gf's honda is beating him by four car lengths and that the car does seem slow
 
when im running normally its ok but when i floor it its pops but its blowing off and i think its spooling up but still pooping as its spooling
 
my car is still in the shop after having it for a month and i've never been able to boost it. :( hopefully we'll figure out what's goin on soon. they think it's an ecu problem.
 
lol, trust me, when your turbo goes youll wanna commit suicide its that bad

I can hear it spool up, BOV blows off, and doesn't reach full boost tell about 3.5k-4krpms. Some days I can tell its FI due to the pull of the car and other days its just noise or well feels like it.
