What have you done to your MSP today?

your car looks sick. i feel your pain on the door ding. i park about a million miles away from everything and i still manage to get a few.

what are your current dyno numbers? your running meth now right?

I haven't dyno my car lately, i still need to fix few things and add another few before the dyno, plus my friend who have his Performance Shop and Dyno is in Argentina for vacation and will be close until mid September, about methanol, Yes I'am running meth right now. Well i can guesstimate I'm in the 500 Crank HP after the Bigger injectors, Adj Cam gears, Meth injection, Raising the boost from 15 psi to 23 psi I'm currently running along with a more aggressive street tune TBK did after the installations of parts mentioned above. I want to do a custom Cold air intake to gain a little bit more HP and get the filter away from the insane engine bay temps, but is not simple, i don't want to use a reducer in the turbo intake, so trying to make CAI with 4" Piping is no joke.. and my last Performance toy I' am going to add to this car is the 505zoom intake manifold. Let's see if this new toy helps me to own The Mazda Protege with the most Horsepower in a Daily Driving Form, i would love to get to the 500whp Mark, but i don't know how far away I'am from it, and how much money and stuff i need to add to get there. I'm Pretty sure if i use a NOS Kit i can get there, but the fun and unique part of this is to get there without any steroids, just engine And Turbo.. even if don't ever get close to that mark which i think is no joke and easy, I'm Very happy with what i have and how the car if performing..

WagonBacker9 post a pic of your newly made 3d brake light installed. Wouldnt you have to remove a section of your tint, so that the lights will shine through? Otherwise, kool idea..

I probably should... but I'm not going to..
my other idea was to use a bookmark from when I was a kid as a defuser.. idk if you know what I'm talking about but.. they were plastic, and kinda... I don't know how to describe it but... holographic?

I'll get a pic up when I can talk someone into steppin on the brake while I snap a pic.

back in the day I bought an "LED high mount" 3rd brake light from walmart and glued it in the top of the rear window of my corolla. Only reason I did it is because I destroyed my rear dash cover trying to remove it for stereo stuff, and replaced it with my own custom piece...
this is so much cleaner. I was looking at getting a regular protege 3rd, but they're SO tall.. i just didn't like it. plus, I had LEDs laying around from an old project.

the head should be here friday and im hopin thats when the machine shop is gonna call me and tell me my block is ready to be picked up too.

proally gonna go with the f/ic tho depending on how it looks i know of 2 ppl that have gotten it to work. crazee d and another guy with a turbo 626

So I just got my gaskets in and I'm getting ready to transplant my turbo to the new exhaust manifold but I have a quick question. Toward which part does the "ridge" on the turbo inlet gasket face? You know, one side has a raised "ridge" on it and I can't remember if that faces the exhaust manifold or the turbo. I can't find any info on this but if it's anything like the IM gasket then there is a proper direction.

the ridge is to make a seal around the opening. it would only matter if say you had a groove, like when you oring a block.

i put mine facing up so the flat part is facing down, but it doesnt matter as long as you tighten it right.
