What have you done to your MSP today?

A lighter flywheel takes away some of the load that is given with the stock flywheel.. More rotating mass = more load = builds boost quicker.. It may rev quick, but its less load on the engine..

Tis true.

With that said, I still build boost in 1st gear easily after my LWFW. 1st is pretty much useless as far as accelerating quickly, unless I want to kill tires.

Daily drivability isn't the greatest, but that could be the Spec Stage 3 too. All-in-all, it's not bad once you get used to it.

Exactly. I have the Fidanza flywheel and the Unorthodox UDP so there's quite a bit less rotating mass going on down there (will be counter-acted by the forged pistons and rods later on). Not like I really need to build full boost in first anyway - even at like 0-1 psi in first my wheel (LOL) is already spinning even with the heavy-ass MSP wheels.

BTW, I'll be driving up to Cincinnati today so any of you OH MSP-ers who might happen to be in the area be sure to give a wave if you see a red P5 with a front mount :)

today i stared at it in my drive way, i finally have her back and she is gorgeous, and pulls like a MOFO with the gt28rs

head work is not done yet, the spare head is still at the shop, i'm boosting in the lines of 15-17psi, i haven't driven her that much cause i need to do some tunning, the knock i had is completely gone after I re-bearinged the bottom end

the reluctor (sp?) gear had two teeth that were bent, every time it got to those teeth the cars starting sequence would restart so it never saw top-dead-center and it threw the timing out of wack, ******* s*** cost me so much to fix, it's gonna take me a while to get back on my feet

wow thats wierd

yeah, it was all fine and dandy for three weeks till the alt pulley broke then i spun a bearing and yada yada yada, it drives damn good now though, i just need to tune it and i'm doing it today
