What have you done to your MSP today?

I jus gotta interrupt the thread and say, Matt, it's so good to see u and that yellow beast back on these boards so much. U & Pirana got THE BADDEST yellows I think I've ever seen. I'm comin ur way soon, I wanna get a "real life" glimpse of it. I'm glad u kept her. (yes) [end rave]

Thanks Doug. Its always nice to get a compliment! I think we've been planning to meet up for over 2 years now. lol.

daedalus, ive been meaning to ask you. Are you gonna stay with the stock turbo or something a tad bigger? I know you had her going pretty good with the stocker at one point.

Hey, I'am glad to see your are coming back!

PS-is not what I have done to it today...its what Iam going to do to it tomorrow ;)

Probably going to get a disco potato. I was thinking of going with a 2871r, but frankly, i don't want the added lag even if the benefit is more power. 350whp imo is the limit of a FWD platform. anything much more and you've just got useless wheels spin unless your on the highway. 350 would be a very nice happy medium, and with the smaller turbo it would be near as responsive as the stock unit which i love. Nothing like boost at 2500rpms!

Initially though, i want to see if i can fix the oil pressure problems with the krankcase vents, check the compression, and through it back on the dyno to retune it (we de-tuned it and took out a s*** ton of timing to sell the car).

I wiped a big layer of pollen off the windows this morning...booo to high pollen counts turning my pretty Black Mica into a weird yellow/green color!

But pollen means it's spriiiiiiiing! :D .. And time for allergy attacks, but oh well.

Bought the front set of Rotora rotors this morning! I'll hopefully have the new brakes on in about two weeks. Cause now I gotta save up the money to get 'em installed, cause I do NOT do brake work myself -- that's just begging for bad things to happen.

Any decent mechanic shop should be able to put on rotors and brake pads, right? I wouldn't think it'd be anything too complicated .. but my knowledge of brakes is quite limited.

Even Nick's turbo upgrade. I doubt you'll hit 350 with it but you can atleast say its the oem turbo (kinda) :P

I lost my car and I don't think I'll ever get it back. My finacee's Subaru got a hole in the exhaust so we switched cars so I could get it fixed and now she isn't planning on trading back! She says she likes the looks, handling and MPG of the MSP. Well, I guess I am the proud owner of a sweet 90' Maroon Subaru Loyale :(

So are the rears. I just did a complete rotor/pad change the other day. Did the rears first. A few more steps, but just as easy.

did a little something something in the back seat of my car... hehehe. i love my car, total chick magnet!

It was my day off so I took care of a few things. I got new toyo proxy 4's put on the front wheels, alignment, and installed gt spec strut bar. Then with a help of my buddy cleaned the car and saw the color I originally purchase, black not brown(lol)!

dude you could totally do the brakes. I'm pretty sure theres how-to's and stuff. Its pretty straightforward..... and i'm sure theres plenty of people that would be willing to help.

I just turned my front rotors and changed the pads and I must say it was simple as hell... not the mess that VW calls brakes @ all.
