What have you done to your MSP today?

323 is going to say do not get him started. This fat ass, dumb ass tub of useless lard that works at Advanced down the road from my house and because he works their he knows more about cars than the people who owns them. He told me that my mp3 was never made so next time I drove it in I showed him and he told me that had the badges made. then we were messing with 323's brakes and he can finish that story....

oh yea. according to that guy, the msp came with normal es brake calipers, pads, & rotors and what i have is a special sports package

dot dot dot...

And the stories from this guy could fill this form. And it is not just mazdas either. I got stories with the talon, from other owners(honda etc) but the best is hios mustang he is trying to sell. 96 auto v6 with 3 rims and a spare (one 16" stock rim, one 18" after market and one 15" steely) paint peeling everywhere and he tlks about how fast it is. I would be suprised if it moved on its own power at this point. (screwy)

Ok back on topic my rant is over....

and also who would rebuild the axle if i desided to go that route? would it be like a transmission shop?

Just look for a place advertised under drivelines or cv axle rebuilders. I used Mike's driveline in Tampa when I had my issue. Doubtful that a transmission shop would be able to do it.

It can be done in a day if they have the parts. No its not an auto parts store. Every state should have a least one or more shops that offers the service. I don't remember what I paid as it was years ago and I bought a used transaxle with the cv's and got them rebuilt.

Only real tools needed is an arbour press or hydualic if you got the reasources and the banding tool for the boots. The know how is where they get you. They used to do it all the time in the shop I worked at. I never did it, just seen it done.

wheel gap is present because the car is on the lift. That s**** gonna be close to the fenders with 235/40 tires.

I'll be interested in hearing/seeing more about clearance issues once the install is complete and the car is off the lift. It may end up solidifying my opinion that 17 X 7.5 X 45 offset is the perfect compromise between amount of rubber on the road and clearance and flush looks. It depends on how much the car is dropped though too...

uhhhh.... i must be missing something. i knew he had weapons but it sounded like he was doing something new/different there.
