What have you done to your MSP today?

I changed my breaks yesterday... My Passengerside break pad was down to Metal.... My driverside... well... I measued it up with the new pair... ITS THE SAME ******* SIZE. So someone.... tell me what the **** could be wrong... Something isnt right. The breaking power seams weaker... something is wrong..

seized caliper.

i'd change them both.

anybody know how to calibrate the e-brake? i did a half-ass job of checking the "how to" thread with no luck. i have to pull the handle waaaay to far up to keep my car from rolling OOOoooo.....

Did you break in the new pads correctly too? You could have a number of problems such as glazed rotors, harder pads or the seized rotor

calibrate the ebrake??

if you pull the plastic piece up theres i think a 10mm nut you can tighten.

i got hit by a deer......yes, he hit me. cracked my fender, broke my mirror, dented my roof, and it looks like i was raming someones head into both my passanger doors many times. i wanted to scream at the top of my lungs because ive had the worst luck with this damn car.....

I know how you feel man, I hit one a year and half ago. s*** sucks. Trade that black mica for a P5? lololol but seriously?

+1

how many lines on those brake pads? does the car pull to one side when you apply the brakes? does it pull when you don't apply the brakes?

lines on brake pads? And It doesnt pull when I apply them, that why it doest make any sence to me, it breaks fine,

And I dont know about seized, because they were pushed out, and I pushed them back in, and everything seams to be working fine caliper wise.

miles omg, I cannot type. if its not pulling, the more worn one is likely just dragging enough to wear the pad a little bit constantly... I'd at least get a new caliper on that side.. even if its not seized, it doesn't sound like its functioning properly.
