What have you done to your MSP today?

-Order some goodies from PG. I gotta do my oil change soon so im trying to get my s*** together and get this oil pressure guage fully functional.

what type of oil pressure gauge? I just hooked my electrical gauge up and wish I got a mechanical now. With electrical the needle seems to bounce everywhere. My bro has mechanicAL and said never had probs with his

Any of you guys know any Engine Knock Detection system in the market that i could buy ? i know Turbo XS sells a Light but, is that the only system out there? i can't find anything on the web except for the turbo xs, you can use stock knock sensor of our engines or purchase the turboxs bosch sensor. Thanks in advance

Yeah I have heard great stuff about J&S. It's been discussed all over here, suprised you never heard any conversations about it.

I knew about it, i just dont understand if you are using a full stand alone like in my case Haltech I need to run this ? do they work together ? sorry for my ignorance but even tho i have heard of it i dont know how does it works along with a Haltech. any threads of info etc ?

the J&S i believe works downstream (so between ECU and coils) from your ECU (so should work with anything?) and pulls timing if it senses knock..

somebody correct me if I've got this wrong.

assuming I'm right, the Haltech is tuned for one set of conditions (temp, humidity, altitude, etc), change any of them and if you're tuned (too?) agressively you'll knock, and the ECU will keep right on plugging away with the tune it has. the J&S will pull timing if it starts knocking and save your engine.

no see link.. but i believe you want the one that can handle 4 cylenders individually. I think we can use that one? maybe its by coil. I'm honestly not sure. someone who's actually worked with one would know more. I was just looking into it for a while for safety sake. there are a few threads on here, just google "Protege J&S Safeguard"

Its a electrical oil pressure guage(Prosport). did u use the oil sandwich thingy or used brass fittings?

I started it since it has not been driven since monday and i dont intend to drive it anytime soon. I dont mind the fact that it isnt gaining more mileage, that is for sure. I just have too good of a spot
