ok so i think i will get the platinums unless perswaded otherways and also what do i gap them to again?
So not sure who told you guys otherwise but the msp stock plugs are irridium and they work excelent until you start upping the boost. Even then stick with the irridium and go a step colder.

I don't understand how bosch keeps selling plugs but they don't work in japanese cars EVER! They have always caused me problems...I tend to use them for pluging tranny cooler lines when I yank transmissions lol.
didnt know that. the iridiums i got from autozone caused all kinda of sputtering on acceleration (2 sets),so i got some stock ones and they worked great. the parts guy told me it was platinum. thats where i got it from.
good to know.
I was pretty positive they were iridiums but asked my gf (12yrs mazda parts experience) and she said they are absolutly ngk iridium and are the same plug used in the 2.3l millenia...she even rambled off the part number lol. But yeah usually the easiest way to tell its iridium is to look at the tip. The little tiny sharp pointed tip is a typical dead give away for iridium.
I used +4's in my corolla back in the day and didn't notice problems... but... that car did 0-60 in a week as it was, so who knows. If I BEAT on it i could make 70-75 on most on-ramps. LOL

thanks to the bosch's... I did. cracked one of the insulators... ran like crap as soon as I boosted.
