What have you done to your MSP today?

Finished installing the SplitSec AFC and took it out for a spin. I turned the boost up to 8psi spikes to 10psi. The thing hauls @$$!! It is so much faster now! I can;t keep the tires from spinning 1st, 2nd, and very first part of 3rd. I think my friends LS2 GTO is going down this weekend!!

but it does sound good. Have a feeling though that the J-pipe will be back in by tomorrow or atleast soon.

thats why you put in a electronic cutout, so you can have sound or not. Honestly one of my favorite mods

Word. I felt the same way after I installed the AFC. A huge difference! I didn't even know what to say about it. Now that I'm used to the power it kinda sucks and I need to do some more moding!

Yeah what sucks is when I bought the car it was boosting 13.5psi so I know the potential of it. But since the engine blew i am scared now and will not push over 10psi. But I think with the AFC installed it is just as fast now at 8psi as it was at 13.5 without afc.

I know... an electronic cutout is in the plans...

I just had the bug to take it off and run it open for a couple of days...

in all honesty, it sounds great especially low rpms... and when you go WOT, it just screams... definately notice a slightly faster spooltime. Im still running the s-pipe though, Im sure with the corksport pipes itd be a slight bit better.

nope, been there, done that. had it sheer in half and that is what led me to get the cutout.

Yeah I hear that, all i'm saying is that at stock boost and the AFC ... I could keep up with WRXs, and pull all over a 1.8T at 18 psi.
 
I'm making a list of brake goodies and maintenance items I'll be buying in the near future...
 
my engine mounts finally came in just about 10 min ago...time for me to go into the garage and get to work

to be installed:
-SU front and back rngine mounts
-SplitSecond AFC
-440 cc wrx injectors

and then its off to a tune :)

(could anyone who has succsesfully installed the afc pm me with what i need to know to program to get my car running right after i install the afc??please)
 
so i got the PG intake manifold in tonight..decided just to take the belts off and put a new timing belt on sence it seems like its stretched a little. gonna get belt and silicone vacuum lines tomorrow so i can finish up everything.

K, i nstalled mine and haven't touched the tunning, now, i don't have bigger injectors, but do a search for afc map library, there are a few maps on there that will really help you out, let me know how it goes, i'm looking into some bigger injectors
 
if you bought it new..i think it comes not loaded with anything so when u just hook it all up its just stock..i think..but mine was used and had the supermap loaded.
 
all the DSM AFC's come loaded with the Supermap, best map so far, imo!!

s*** I would sell you my 440s, but I keep hoping someday my megasquirt will actually be ready
 
i bought mine used, but is is un-used...lol you know?

im just not sure on how i tune it? im really confused about that...how and with what do i access the program when its installed?
